“Five stars is not enough for Printed Page Bookshop! I had an absolutely wonderful experience selling my books here. Dan was incredibly professional, honest, and personable throughout the entire process. He took the time to look through my collection, offered a very fair price, and made me feel completely valued as a customer. It is rare to find such authentic, friendly service these days. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much! :)”

“This is a magical corner of the universe - don't skip the print shop part. I've been twice now. The second time I stumbled into the print shop and was ushered into an impromptu and fascinating tour of the shop, printing, and found myself examining vintage and freshly created slugs (typesets) in the shop collection. Rick, the owner, was there, and invited me to make a print for myself. He's amassed thousands of slugs and tools, machines and gadgets, over thirty years. And he is more than happy to share his love of printmaking, collage, and books with you. We don't have many places like this anymore, anywhere. At least, not in the Midwest United States. You'd be sad if you skipped out. Come with an open mind, curiosity, and knowing that you'll meet new friends!”

“Michael the book clerk politely listened to me disassociate about various issues in the Warren report and the 9-11 commission report. Burning furniture and carpet debris and WTC7. Confirm for yourself. They had a Grateful Dead book a $10 Elvis large coffee table book and I picked up a hardback on the jesuits for $10 and the psychonauts handbook PIHKAL. Foundational denver book store with only the uncut raw stock”

“My mom and I stumbled upon this local gem on south pearl street while visiting Denver. The moment I saw this store I knew I had to go in. There’s nothing I love more than a small, independent bookstore and this one checked all the right boxes.
✅ super friendly, awesome staff
✅ good mix of classics and more recently published books
✅ fun kids section (I bought a kids book about a pancake and a French toast racing for the last drop of syrup!)
✅ plenty of games, toys, and gifts
✅ large selection of cool stickers (get ready for indecision paralysis)
If you’re in Denver and love a whimsical bookstore definitely stop by Second Star to the Right.”

“Such a beautiful, cozy bookshop! The staff is so friendly & they have a great selection. My favorite part was looking through the custom bound books with gold pages. Each one was a work of art & I felt like a kid in a candy shop! I hope to be back soon to explore the shelves again 😊”

“Awesome shop! Will definitely be back when I'm ready for my next in series. Support Local!

Went in with my friend and together we bought over 10 books.

Would love to see more M/M+ Omegaverse in the future so will be on the lookout!”

“I’ve been to this bookstore a couple times. It’s cute, cozy and the employees are kind. My struggle is that there is not a lot of representation of people of color both in characters and authors, especially in fiction options. I wish there was more urban/contemporary fiction. I appreciate that there was a small display of some black history books in celebration of Juneteenth this last time I visited - given that it’s June.”

“Honestly, places like Fahrenheit Books are the reason physical books can still make a comeback. There’s nothing like getting lost in the stacks and finding a hidden gem you didn't know you needed. The vibe is perfect, the prices are fair, and it’s got way more soul than an algorithm. A total neighborhood treasure!”

“Great Word, Bible, and Book store. Enjoyed shopping here for the first time. I found great gifts for my FBCCJ church family for the holidays. The store has beautiful women church hats, men ties and assessories, books/Bibles, Bible covers/engravings, globes and religious ceramics, wonderful religious music by different religious artists, different book markers, and the list goes on. The owner also take orders for bulk church items. Kindness, helpful, and friendly service from the owner. I'll be back for more shopping.”

“A Metaphysical Shop Operating at the Highest Vibration! Shining Lotus is my favorite metaphysical shop in Denver! Nestled between a nail salon and an animal hospital in a strip mall in University Hills, this *gem* of a small business will meet your every spiritual need. Co-owners Tim and Justin, and sales associate Laura, are all kind souls at your service when you enter their shop. I recently visited and Laura recommended the perfect healing combination of pocket stones for my sister who was recovering from pneumonia (Thank you, Laura). On another visit, Tim recommended crystals to help inspire my dad, a budding abstract painter at the age of 75 (Thanks, Tim!). I can browse their book selection for hours and their website is a phenomenal resource too! If you are looking to tap into your own inner wisdom while supporting a longstanding local treasure, swing by Shining Lotus Metaphysical Bookstore!”

“I've been coming here since I was a teenager. Now in my early 40's with my beloved 21 year old cat dying, this company was here for me. They got crystals for my cat, myself, sage and a ritual to read after she passes. I cannot say enough good things about this company - they take care of women through all stages in their life.”

“This location is easily the best one in Denver. The atmosphere is welcoming, the selection is great, and the staff are always incredibly friendly. Alex has helped me several times and always gives thoughtful recommendations that end up being exactly what I was looking for.

I love stopping in and browsing whenever I take the train into town — it’s become one of my favorite parts of the trip. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Denver.”

“First time ever coming here and the atmosphere was really cool! I only bought one issue, but explored the whole store. Very chill vibes and the addition of the drink/coffee shop was great. Would love to come back next time I’m in Denver.”

“What an amazing group of people working here! I ordered a few things online and wasn't able to pick them up for a while. I called a few times to coordinate and make sure they didn't end up back on the shelf and spoke with Sammy and another associate and everyone was super accommodating and helpful! Thank you so much!!!”

“I would like to give a huge thank you to Mia, Clarissa, and Laura ( and all the staff at the Regis Bookstore) for helping me navigate the new Follett Access program! It has saved me a lot of money paying for my books and being able to have them packaged for me for pick up. All of the employees are extremely helpful and kind. I felt so compelled to write this review as today I witnessed another customer who was completely rude and racist to the staff. They handled it with tact and elegance even when the woman tried to throw the receipt at them over a 25 cent price difference. Thank you for all the hard work you do for the students and always being kind and helpful to whoever may come in the store.-Mark”

“Extremely nice manager (Enzo) super helpful and knowledgeable with the products. From the front to the back is organized and clean. The arcade is Huge! and also kept very clean.”

“The staff were really nice which is why this is five stars but NEVER, EVER get an Onhand lighting charger. It’s the biggest waste of 25 dollars I have ever spent on anything. I wasted five minutes of my life to just get this thing to charge my phone, and when it did it was slower than an actual tortoise. I had to use my already pretty bad charger to finish it.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.”

“I really liked this store. It actually offered to go foods that were above average. Excellent cheese and fruit plate for $8.99 that included 2 cheeses, crackers, apples and grapes. Near gate B23. The usual books, magazines and sundries too.”

“If I could rate 10 stars I would. :-) Went walking down Coalfax and came across this shop. My partner and I are both tattoo artists and own Happy Daze Tattoo Co. in Phoenix, AZ, so we were interested to know if this shop held any Robert Crumb comics that we could use for references. Ray is super knowledgeable about where everything’s located in the store, and he had so many lovely stories to share with us about the shop’s history. He has put his whole heart and soul into this shop. Thank you for giving us this experience, it left an impact on me and my partner and my friend. We will remember it forever!”

“Popped into this store on Saturday looking for a Birthday gift for my 2-year-old niece. We were immediately greeted by whom I’m assuming was one of the owners and asked if she could help steer us in any one direction. She showed us two sections with books and toys that were age appropriate and we found exactly the type of gift we were hoping for, which was loved by our niece and her parents. Shw even gift wrapped it for us for free and we had choice of tissue paper. These reviews are puzzling as our experience in this store was nothing short of pleasant and successful. There was a sign on the door about not using electronic devices (I actually received an important call I was anticipating while in the store and simply stepped outside to take it, not a problem at all) but I think that’s actually quite nice and perhaps should be more commonplace. If you are kind and respectful, I can’t imagine you won’t be treated with respect here in return.”
