Thrifty Car Rental at Denver International Airport offers unbeatable rental car deals and a huge selection of vehicles, with opportunities to spend less through prepayment and debit card use. However, customer experiences with efficiency vary significantly. The location frequently suffers from long waits and overcrowding, with lines sometimes extremely long even during late hours. Many customers report issues with the reservation system, where mobile confirmations may not be recognized, leading to further delays and the need to re-enter information. Vehicle availability can be inconsistent, with customers often finding their reserved car size unavailable and being offered upgrades, sometimes for an extra cost. While the self-checkout online function is praised for allowing some to bypass the front desk, the in-person process is often slow, with requests for more registers to be open. The service from agents is mixed, described by some as friendly and kind, even resulting in complimentary upgrades, while others find staff unhelpful. The car drop-off process can also be a point of frustration. Despite the potential for good value, the experience frequently requires patience due to operational delays.
Freedom was very kind and helpful highly recommend him thank you so much for your assistance and patience while I navigated my credit card being on hold. Thank you for your help!

Everyone from the shuttle bus driver to the employees working at the counter were very friendly and helpful. I would choose Thrifty again when renting a car.

Agent was a bit off in dealing with us. I mean it's a simple, efficient service with great value car hire; no need to pressure sell extras/upgrades, especially to visiting foreigners - advice is all that's needed and honest advice at that.
