I've been with TIAA a over 3 years and their customer service is terrible. Good luck trying to get a live person on a call because it will not happen easily. Also, if your company is a smaller company that is with TIAA, don't expect a call back or actual support.

I have had four or five advisers quit or be fired. My most recent one in Denver must be gone; his phone extension is disconnected. No response to my email. No notice from TIAA. Now nothing but a general toll-free number, and we all know how that goes.
