The museum has a great opportunity to see life in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The old school, cabin and house is well preserved and free to enter with donations welcome. People were friendly and knew a lot about the history. They will listen to a presentation in an old classroom, then roam by yourself. The museum has lots of artifacts from Ute tribes, miners, firemen, firefighters, sheriffs and old West crime and fire fighting history. It is a fun and interesting museum with plenty of parking, a good rainy day activity, and staff obviously is passionate bout what they do.
