“If you’re in Durango and love books, is one of those places you can easily lose track of time in.
The shop has a really well-curated selection of used books across just about every genre. It’s not overwhelming or cluttered like some secondhand stores. Everything is organized in a way that makes browsing feel easy and actually enjoyable. You’ll find a mix of everyday reads and some genuinely unique or older titles you don’t see often.
What stood out most was the atmosphere. It’s quiet, cozy, and has that “hidden gem” feel, especially if you like bookstores that reward you for taking your time. The newer space has more room and natural light, which makes it even better to hang out and explore.
The staff are friendly and helpful without hovering. If you need help, they’ll point you in the right direction, but they also let you browse at your own pace, which matters in a place like this.
Prices are very reasonable for how thoughtfully curated the selection is, and it’s honestly hard to walk out without picking up at least one or two books.
Overall, this is the kind of bookstore that feels personal and intentional. Whether you’re a serious reader or just stopping in while exploring Durango, it’s absolutely worth the visit.”

“A perfect bookstore. Sections for each genre. Sections for kids and preteens. Toys and games.
They have ladders that roll around the floor to ceiling bookshelves so staff can easily access whichever book you need.
There is also a free restroom here that is well kept and clean.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.”
