Despite being the smallest Big 5 location in Durango, the store still carries a good selection of items for the activities in the area. The staff is described as nice and providing excellent customer service, which is a rare find these days. While the store may not have the deepest selection, it is sufficient to get customers started in a new sport or activity. The store is praised for its ability to quickly provide the necessary gear for a specific sport, such as volleyball, without the need to go elsewhere.
The woman I spoke to was too busy restocking, however she did show me where to find the product myself. Make sure to use the restroom before you get there, they have only one restroom, its for employees only, even paying customers can't use it.
