“I've lived all over the US and Dr Lodahl is the best vet I've ever dealt with. She found a problem with my dogs spine and successfully treated it when 6 other vets completely missed it, using the x rays the other vets took. I would rather drive 4 hours to go to this vet than any of the vets where I live currently.”

“Our puppy swallowed 2 grapes. We called Baker immediately. Went in and our puppy was treated quickly and successfully. My nerves were out of control. Their competent hands calmed me down and all went well. In 40 minutes we were in our way back home . Very grateful”

“I love Aspen Tree. I’ve been bringing my animals to them for probably 20+ years. I genuinely feel they care about animals and take their time to address all my concerns.”

“Over the last 3 years, we've seen all 3 vets for our dogs and cat. Each vet has been exceptional taking the time to make our nervous pets feel comfortable-even getting on the floor with our small dog! Each vet has been attentive to our concerns about our pets, and answers all questions to our satisfaction. Care advised (i.e. tooth cleaning, blood work) has been warranted and prices are reasonable. The staff is also helpful, giving me pointers on nail trimming, etc. It's obvious that all in the office care about providing competent and caring health care. I strongly recommend Alpine for your pet's needs.”

“Dr. Johnson was extremely kind, thorough and professional during our visit, taking time to ensure my old dog was comfortable with her before beginning the exam. I also appreciated how she explained her intentions, observations and findings to me in detail. She was wonderful! Also, the office staff and vet techs were friendly from initial scheduling call to checkout and follow-up the next day.”

“Karlene is extremely knowledgeable and professional. When western medicine fails to treat the source of an issue in dogs or horses, holistic medicine approaches the problem in totality, not simply treating the symptoms. I highly recommend Karlene and her practice!”

“Called to get my dog spayed. They were booked for a couple weeks, and I passed off my situation as needing it sooner than later, which in my mind was accurate. But due to the thorough education the receptionist gave me, I was enlightened that it would be better to wait numerous weeks after the dog was past her first heat. She could have just been direct with her answer and that was it, but she inquired about what kind of dog it was, etc. Another place in town I called was just matter of fact, and almost rude as if this is what we recommend, and that's it. The size of the dog, the type of dog, none of it mattered. A red flag. This lady was very nice and patient with my questions. I'll definitely be taking my dog here when the time comes. The other 2 places I've dealt with in Durango I'd be wary of.”
