White Rabbit Books & Curiosities is a hidden gem nestled on the banks of the Animas River along Durango's Animas River Trail. This tiny, cozy shop offers a wide range of new and used books and all things curious, from classics to the occult. Books fill the walls from top to bottom with a beautiful array of jewelry, stickers, and local art nestled in between. It is a bit tricky to find, but if you persevere, you will be rewarded. The shop is a magical place, a book lover's paradise full of neat finds and cool discoveries. The owner is welcoming, helpful, and super nice, ensuring visitors never feel rushed. The White Rabbit garden beside the shop is host to a spattering of fun and unique events throughout the year and has grown to be a gathering place and creative space for locals and tourists alike. Be sure to stop by and add a rock to the ever-expanding rock garden, or your own bit of whimsy to the magic.
Loved this place. It has that cozy, hidden little bookshop feel where you just want to wander around and see what’s tucked into the next corner. The garden by the river is so peaceful and makes the perfect spot to sit with a book for a bit.

I stopped in to find a good read while vacationing in the area. The owner asked a few questions,suggested a few titles, and I am thoroughly enjoying her recommendations! White Rabbit is a find!
