I recently needed to replace my sewer line and was very happy that my American Family Insurance agent (Abbie Davis-Tanner Agency) had suggested I add the service line endorsement to my homeowner’s policy a few years ago.
Filing the claim was a very straight forward process. I provided my agent with an email containing a video link of my sewer line scoping, the write-up of the scoping conclusion and a bid for the sewer line replacement.
My agent then forwarded the information to their claims people who then forwarded the information a company specifically dealing with sewer line claims. The claim needed to be approved at each step to advance.
After the final approval, I received an email with a secure link for my banking information and 3 days later a check for $10,000 had been deposited into my bank account.”
