They have been taking my now 11 year old boxer for the last 8 years and Dr. Gilbert is by far one of the best veterinarians we have had throughout numerous health issues/concerns. We have also seen other veterinarians at Care Animal because dogs will be dogs and it’s great knowing I have the team at Care Animal Hospital to help out!”

“This is without question the best vet I have ever been too. I have seen 3 vets with 2 dogs here. Dr Andy is so kind and compassionate I can’t even put it into words. My 14 year old Yorkie is a very complicated case and Dr Andy took so much time and patience to hear us out and come up with an action plan my wife and I were blown away. My dachshund has seen Dr Llewy and Dr Jeannie both multiple times and they are both outstanding. I will never go anywhere else”

“Our kitty, Mystery, was a stray. He has had some minor problems & All Cat Clinic has addressed those issues to keep him healthy. They also answer all of our questions completely so we understand everything about Mystery's health needs. They are very gentle when handling & examining Mystery. This is really important to us.

“My dog and I have always had a great experience here. The front desk is SO friendly and somehow they seem to remember every animal that visits this clinic.
Dr. Herman performed Athena's spaying procedure. I was really nervous leaving her there, but she did great. I was so grateful for the before surgery consultation, the midday update from the desk, and when I picked her up she was a bit sleepy, but perfect. She recovered VERY quickly and really didn't ever seem to experience noticeable discomfort.
I have moved out of the area or I'd still be going here, but if I end up moving closer I will for sure be back.”

I was really nervous and sort of skeptical considering the prices, but the techs I saw at both drop off and pick up were super nice and explained everything very well to me. it's only been a week, but so far my kitten hasn't had any complications at all and our regular vet told us that she's healing nicely! highly recommended!”

“They were very helpful when I took my cat in. We went straight into a room where Marcia came in about 2 minutes and asked why were there. She was quickly followed by Dr. SUMMER. Who explained everything we could want to know She got clarification of what we wanted. And my cat was scooped up by Marcia and all the things we had wanted done were completed. And my cat was brought back to me untraumatized. I would highly recommend the Lakewood Veterinary Hospital. They are very loving and gentle with every pet I've seen coming into their facility.”

“Shoutout to the whole team for being so kind and genuinely caring about my pet’s health. Every interaction has been so positive and professional.
In particular, go see Dr Becky Graf if you can! She’s been our vet for more than a decade, and we followed her to Urban Vet. Dr Graf is the kind of person who takes care of your whole family, humans and pets alike. She always explains clearly what’s going on, and every option you have, but also takes into account what’s actually best for your pets quality of life and what you yourself can manage. When I was young and broke, that meant telling me my cats would need to get their teeth cleaned way ahead of time so I could get the money together. Now, with very elderly cats and a basically stable bank account, that’s telling me an invasive procedure might be too hard on their hearts, here’s some gentler options. (She also always calls personally with test results and follow ups to explain them and to plan next steps).
The more knowledgeable and informed we are, the better we can take care of our fur babies. Dr Graf makes sure we’re all working together to give our pets their best lives.”
“Dr Bement is a wonderful vet who’s been doing this a long time but seems to still keep up with new advancements in veterinary care. He always takes the time to explain things to me without judgement. Very reasonable prices as well. This is a mom and pop type community clinic, not a corporate monstrosity.”
“Excellent service, including a caring follow-up. My Hound was in for a general checkup which discovered a UTI. Medication was dispensed and taken, and I brought in a urine sample as directed to be sure all was well. It wasn't. Extensive follow-up testing was done. My Hound got expert service from caring staff. Thanks, Dr. Gretchen!”
“My kitty Grayson was just getting some updated vaccines and a check up, and the vet noticed his teeth were bad. I was able to get him scheduled for a cleaning and extraction within 2 months! The vet made sure to walk me through the process and explain the extractions. He is SO happy now. It's been a week now and he has been happier than ever! He was purring nonstop the first 3 days. I mean NONSTOP. Now you can just see he's in a lot less pain. He also cuddles more!! Thank you Alameda for taking care of my boy.”

“I’d give Evans East, Dr Gao, Dr Rodriguez, Dr Farmer and the rest of the team 10 stars if I could. They took exceptional care of my baby girl (senior cat, Boots) when she became ill and stopped eating earlier this year.
I brought her in after having zero luck with our regular vet. After just a few visits and tests, Dr Gao was able to diagnose her with (unfortunately) renal lymphoma. She took her time explaining everything (e.g., test results, treatment) and even let me call her with additional questions, which went a long way in my book considering how scary and stressful it was.
Unfortunately, Boots took a turn for the worse before her first oncology appt and I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize. And on that day when I was an absolute wreck, the Evans East team was kind, patient, caring, and compassionate.
Overall, I highly recommend this place and can’t thank them enough for their efforts.”

“We had a goat in labor that was having serious complications. We called everywhere and none of the large animal vets could see her (it was a Sunday, very early morning). VEG picked up the phone, agreed to see her even though they don't do goats, and took great care of us. Our doe had to be put down, which we expected, but they were lovely and took good care of us. It meant so much to us that they were the only people who would end her suffering. Thank you VEG and Dr. Tara!”
