“Once UPS closed in Avon, CO, you either have to drive to UPS in Vail or UPS in Edwards, so that is why there are so many people there. I've been twice in the past week to do Amazon returns. First time only one person ahead of me, and the guy behind the counter scanned all 3 items even though they have the express kiosk where you do it yourself, so that was great. There was a short line when I left. He was so friendly. The next time I went in there was no one in front of me, but the guy came out from behind the counter and said I needed to go to the Kiosk because the printers behind the main counter weren't working. He helped me and put the labels on. You could tell they'd been slammed with packages. The kiosk was covered and boxes, etc. everywhere. He said before they closed it would all be boxed up and ready for pick up. If I go to that UPS I know I might have to wait if I need help. BUT it's do much better than the lines in the Avon Post Office! Great job, UPS in Edwards, CO.”

“Honestly? The team does the best they can, with a massive workload and generally not enough staff members. There have been some issues over the years with deliveries or packages for myself and my family, but having a respectful conversation with the PostMaster (and bringing details, tracking numbers, etc.) has always been the best approach. Treat this team with respect (it’s nobody’s fault you are in line during a busy time of day and have to wait) and they have to follow rules (so don’t expect them to bend a federal regulation for you!). I appreciate them always being kind to me (and me them). The Post Office is one of the more interesting social experiments platforms - being pissy with the team here for any reason is on you and nobody else.”
