While Applying for a new passport I faced countless obstacles. All of them created by ME. Peter in the Evergreen post office was proffessional, informative and extremely helpful. What a positive experience.

2 stars because the people I've talked to at the post office and our delivery person have always been friendly and very helpful. However, packages get lost, mis-delivered, or marked as delivered when they are not so often that I feel like it's a crapshoot whether I'll get what I'm expecting. My mail carrier is dyslexic. He is a really nice guy, but sometimes it's frustrating knowing that my mail is delayed because he got the numbers wrong. I saw in another post that you can request Amazon prioritize other carriers, which I'm planning to do. We had our road name and address changed by the county recently and USPS still doesn't recognize the address, even after three months. I feel like the postal workers are the best, but I'm guessing they are always overloaded. The missing stars are for USPS leadership not adequately funding their services. I wouldn't mind paying a dollar more in shipping if it meant that service could be improved. Kind of makes me wonder how much those people at the top are taking home at the end of the day...

or the past 2 months all of my USPS mail and packages are being dropped off at the wrong mailboxes down the street. Not sure if they hired someone who can’t read or is just straight up incompetent. But this is become a major issue with government mail + medications. Government workers at their finest.

The disaster unfolding with USPS not delivering packages is COMPLETELY due to the Golden Post office. Please show the employees at Evergreen some grace when you go in for your packages, they have nothing to do with this but have to deal with the upset customers daily.
The Golden carriers bring all the mail to Evergreen. Here is how the Golden post office operates:
1. They refuse to deliver packages.
2. They load up a box truck with the packages they refused to deliver and dump them off at the Evergreen Post office. (I witnessed this today as I picked up a package from the Evergreen Post Office. The truck had about 70 packages.) The kind gentleman at the desk explained they do this every day.
3. People (mostly disgruntled) are forced to go pick up their packages at the Evergreen dump site.
Honestly, if the Evergreen employees are dealing with the aftermath of Golden not doing their job, why aren’t the Evergreen employees being paid wages from Golden too!?! Unfortunately, there is no resolution to this issue, since you can’t actually contact the Golden Post Office. Try to be kind to the Evergreen employees. They are facing the brunt of it, to no fault of their own.

This place always helps me ship out my orders in a timely manner, and helps me understand shipping costs and other useful information.

Dawn was so nice. She was personal and warm despite dealing with a line out the door and disgruntled customers. She needs a raise for sure

UPDATE - Staff and service have improved dramatically over the last couple of years. Much much happier with service these days
OP The desk staff are lovely but they have some SERIOUS issues with sorting and delivering mail to the correct location. At least 2x a week I get someone else's mail and mine gets sent elsewhere. It is absolutely ridiculous and they are pretty unapologetic. It has been going on for YEARS

Who ever the mail delivery people are here are the worse examples of job. Throw my packages all over my property never anywhere it’s supposed to be. Threw a $1000 piece of jewelry in a white package in the snow in the middle of the driveway which caused me to run it over twice looking for it. Therefore obliterating it when the envelope could’ve been put in a mail box. I will be making a formal complaint to management. And making sure I talk to the “mailman”

This perhaps is one of the most unkept government buildings I have ever been in. It looks like the floors have not been swept or mopped in months. What a shame. The smell is also overwhelming upon entering the building.

The lady working here is very rude and racist. She said she didn't understand customs' talking and refused to provide redelivery services that they offered to do.
