“I was recently stranded in this gas station parking lot with a 'frozen' rental car. It was evening and all the roads and passes were closed. Tom (the owner) happened to be plowing his parking lot just as my family and I got stranded in the middle of his lot.Not only did he take the time to hear and understand my predicament, his first responses was to make sure my wife and son were safe and warm. He invited us into the gas station and got us free hot chocolate, coffee, etc. He also assured me not to worry about the dead rental and he would plow around it until the rental company could get it towed. This situation could have been very bad, but Tom and his team at the gas station made it safe and manageable. In our current crazy world, this simple act of kindness and understanding gives me hope for humanity. Thank you sir. You are a good man.”
“Good store, I stayed in the FairPlay area for a week and got dinner here one night and took a shower before leaving town for $10. The shower was very hot and they have three private shower rooms with no time limit. Kinda pricey for a shower but it was well worth it and I’ll gladly support them to have the service be available.
Other than that it’s your typical gas station plus some extra colorado goods; fishing and outdoor gear etc. good pit stop but gas is quite expensive in FairPlay I would suggest getting over to BV or Salida if you’re heading west or Bailey if you’re heading east.”
“Not everyday I walk into a gas station and walk out with some of the best blueberry muffins for free. If you're rolling through here I'd recommend this friendly place”
“It’s nothing special but it’s not supposed to be. We always stop here to get gas, pick up snacks/soda on our way back to the Denver metro area after visiting the southwest corner of the state. So it’s not BMW drivers Muffy and Chad’s idea of roadside latte and biscuit quirkiness, but it’s a perfectly fine oasis for those with realistic expectations.”

“What a great gas station to grab a bite. Breakfast sammies with real eggs?! WOW! YUM! For gas station pizza it's pretty dang good and a favorite of my kiddos and hubby! The handmade crochet items are adorable and really add to the home town gas station feel.”
“Stores your things as you would need them too. Quick to respond to any emails or questions you have which is really helpful and convenient. Easy self access to your unit.”
