“I came in to see if I could find some Christmas gifts and it was a successful visit! Lots of unique jewelry made in Colorado and many Colorado and Fort Collins themed items. A great place to come for a souvenir as well! I ended up leaving with some stickers, Christmas ornaments, Colorado themed socks, and some earrings! Staff were friendly. I recommend checking them out if you need any Colorado themed items or locally made goods!”

Joey has been teaching my classes and makes everything fun and approachable. They teach you the basics of throwing on a wheel, firing, and glazing. Joey is always up to demonstrate whatever it is you want to learn and answer any questions you might have.Smokestack offers weekly classes with open studio time to go as you please (up to 15hrs a week), as well as Saturday night "Happy Hour Throw Downs." These Saturday night classes are short 2 hour classes where you can throw a few pieces of pottery, and they will fire and glaze your items for you.If you're looking for a community of creative, friendly people who don't take themselves too serious but make some incredible art, this place is for you. “It looks small but allow plenty of time. In addition to the changing featured displays there is a huge permananent collection of items from all over the world. Many are small with tiny details and you can take plenty of time enjoying the details and learning about countries and cultures and leave wanting to learn more. This is a hidden gem in downtown Fort Collins that would be interesting to all ages, even as simply art and craft if the culture is not your thing or for children. Homeschoolers, this is a fantastic field trip. Easy parking, low cost.”
