I have been with First Bank for well over 10 years. It is probably the best bank I've ever done business with. They are helpful even if the error was my own fault. When I call their 800 number I get a real live American who is friendly, knowledgeable, and can solve the problem. The local staff has always been friendly, helpful, and waits are no longer than, and usually shorter than, other banks I've had business with.

First Bank truthfully was an unintimidating bank. The lobby is set up like a living room. The employees were greatly kind and helpful. All of the information that I was in need of knowing was disclosed to me in physical paperwork. I appreciate their assistance with the setup of my new checking account, and I am glad to be banking with them now.

I recently opened an account online with first bank, the process seems outdated and was very frustrating.1. open account online and told need to go in branch to finish account opening2. set up an appointment to go into a branch, get there and they have no idea that there was an appointment set up3. setting up the account involved a lot of paper data entry that could just as easily (and often is at other branches) be done on a keypad4. go to set up online banking5. says I need to call in to finalize6. call the number given, estimated wait 7 minutes, actual wait 8ish but not they say its the wrong department7. get transferred to the other line estimated wait 15 minutes (now 30 minutes) still waiting....How is this taking so many steps? Not worth the effort. Also the account advertised as free is 10$ a year starting on the second year if you want a debit card. A little misleading.

I was told sure to needing change for a business I could knock on the window and be allowed entry to get the boxes of change. Today 03/30/2020 I was hey by a rude employee and had to wait twenty minutes in the drive through, make several drops due to 4 bags of deposits which puts new at risk and then wait for the boxes of change to be brought put. Very disappointing that my safety want a factor.

Had to run in to do make a withdrawal during my lunch and had a long wait. A guy was in training with no additional windows open. Staff was pleasant however.

Y'all we love first bank. They treat us right. I was inspired to write this review today when an employee found us at the old Town fountains to bring us our sons underwear which the left the bathroom. He changed into his swimsuit after our bank visit. I mean, what other bank would provide this kind of service?
