Not a good experience here.
An employee, who seemed as if he had seniority between him and the other employee there, told me I was eligible for FirstNet as a mental health therapist and signed me up as a physician despite me saying I'm not a physician. I took his word for it because he was so confident that I would qualify and said he had signed other therapists up successfully in the past. He also said that an AppleWatch was free with a FirstNet signup. I told him I was never going to use an AppleWatch, but he said "just try it." After stating again that I didn't want it and I'd never use it, I relented after his insistence and, being that it was apparently "free," I just agreed with an intention of giving it to someone who would actually use it.
When FirstNet contacted me to upload my verification documents, I did so. Almost immediately they responded to my upload saying that my paystub didn't match the job description I signed up with. I signed up under the employee's guidance and assurance, yet despite this, I called FirstNet and verified that a therapist is NOT a covered occupation for the network. The employee had absolute confidence that it was, but it wasn't. Not even close. Not only that, but I learned that the AppleWatch and the line attached to it was not free at all despite the employee telling me it was. It was $350 dollars or so, not including the line attached to it! I spent more than an hour on the phone undoing the mess the employee caused.
I went back in to the Golden store to return the AppleWatch and let the same employee know that I wasn't qualified to for FirstNet. He took no responsibility for the watch not actually being free and stuck with his story that therapists are a covered occupation. He did apologize for the inconvenience, but then after returning the AppleWatch, he left the subscription on there so the line was still active. I had to call AT&T again the next day to return my account to its original plan and to remove the AppleWatch line he kept on there despite removing the cost of the physical watch from my invoice. It took another hour to undo that part of the mess.
I don't know if it was sheer incompetence or deceptive practices that led to this experience, but given the other reviews I've seen of the Golden store on Google and Yelp, I can't help but to believe there's a culture of deceptive and scamming practices at that store. I won't ever go there again and I likely won't go to another "authorized retailer" run by the corporation Prime Communications. I'd rather go further to get to a corporate store if I have to.
I should add, the only reason I'm writing a public review is because I left a private one on Prime Communication's website, but they never contacted me back to apologize or even acknowledge the issue in any way. It seems like it takes some negative publicity or public reviews to get a corporation to own up these days. I wonder why.

JUST TO GIVE YOU SOME BACKGROUND, I AM 80 YRS OLD AND MISSED GROWING UP WITH THE INTERNET, ETC. I HATE GOING INTO A PLACE LIKE THIS. BUT OFF I WENT AS MY PHONE WAS DEAD ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS ALMOST AS OLD AS I AM. WHEN I ARRIVED ASHDON STEPPED UP AND WAS HE FANTASTIC. THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. I USUALLY COME OUT OF PLACES LIKE THAT EITHER IN TEARS AND/OR SWEARING I'LL NEVER GO BACK. AFTER READING REVIEWS OF AN OFFICE MUCH CLOSER AND YOUR REVIEWS, I DIDN'T CARE HOW FAR I HAD TO DRIVE AND IT WAS WORTH IT. THANK YOU SO MUCH. ASHDON IS A STAR!!!
