Starting at Canyon Point KinderCare this fall was an amazing decision for our family. Kate, the Director, is kind, passionate, and focused on every kid’s success. Kate took the time to make sure our child was comfortable and happy at every drop off. The teachers at Canyon Point KinderCare are kind and thoughtful, and we are very lucky to have them, and the entire Canyon Point team as a part of our family.

We started bringing our son to Canyon Point KinderCare when he was 7 months old and he is now 12 months. We have LOVED our experience! The teachers are competent and caring and we know our child is in great hands. I'd recommend them to anyone!

My wife and I have been taking our son to this daycare for about a year now. Over the course of this year, Heather (now assistant director) and Keely have provided exceptional care for him in the infant room. The director Kate is very out-going and personable. She always makes time to talk to the parents and does a great job managing this location!

We started here in Feb 2020, and off the bat I have to give a huge shout out to Heather and Naomi in the infant room. They're both incredible, detail oriented, and we couldn't have been happier leaving our son in their care. The previous Director, Brit, was also very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. After pulling our son out of KinderCare for a while during COVID, we returned in Spring '21 and there was a noticeable shift in the staff and attitude when we returned. It's only now that we're with a different daycare company that we realize how bad things really were at this KinderCare. Things were weird with dropoff/pickup, requiring parents to hand our kids off to random staff not allowing us in the classrooms due to COVID concerns, which we definitely appreciate, but this lack of seeing past the front lobby continued well after vaccines were available and the majority of CO residents had gotten them. There were times when we had to tell the person who our child was and what room they were supposed to be in as we're dropping them off. Not once after returning in Spring '21 did we meet the people caring for our son. One day he would be in one room, another day he would be in another room. It was weird having to leave our son with whoever randomly came out to get him on any given morning, not knowing where he was ending up or who would be watching him. Randomly the Director then emailed all of the parents saying she's moving out of state in two weeks, another odd red flag. During this time (Spring '21) it wasn't uncommon for us to get photos of our son being served meat, despite explaining that we're a vegetarian household. We would bring it to the attention of the staff and get responses like "it was only part of the photo but we didn't actually give it to him to eat". What?! He would routinely have accidents at daycare, despite at this point being potty trained and having no accidents at home, which had us wondering how often he was able to go to the bathroom or if his teacher paid attention to his requests to do so. There were a few times where we picked him up and his shorts had clearly been wet for a while, but he obviously hadn't been changed. There were also times when they emailed all of the parents asking to pick our kids up early because they didn't have enough people there to watch them. One week this was requested for 3 days in a row. This completely negates the point of child care if working parents have to leave work early to get their kids for no other reason than this KinderCare can't seem to figure out staffing issues. Finally one day at pickup (outside, waiting in line) I asked the Asst. Director what was going on since things had clearly started going off the rails here, and she told me they were trying to hire new staff "who actually care about their jobs". She also let me know that numerous staff members put in their 2 weeks notice and then just never returned. Yikes. As weird as all of this made us feel, it's only the stark contrast of our current daycare that brought to light how mismanaged Canyon Point KinderCare was by the time we left. If you're a parent questioning if what you're going through at Canyon Point is acceptable, it definitely is not.

I may be new here, but I just wanted to say that I have been absolutely thrilled with the level of care I’ve experienced here - for both me and my infant. I had wonderful communication with them while I was pregnant and getting my daughter on the waitlist, and they always took my calls when I had random questions about how to prepare. Now that my little one has been there for a few weeks, I’m even happier than I was before. All of the staff I’ve met have been so friendly, worked hard to make me and my girl welcome, made a point to learn our names (and how to pronounce them - a surprisingly rare occurrence for foreign names), took care in asking for my preference on her eating/sleeping schedule, work with me as I’m adjusting her eating/sleeping schedule (and even provide some advice and insight as to what is/isn’t working), and send the cutest photos and videos of her throughout the day. Additionally, I’ve noticed a huge jump in her developmental milestones since she’s been here watching the older infants and playing with the center’s toys. What prompted my review today is that after having a difficult morning (and nearly ten days of four month sleep regression woes), I called the center asking if they would mind sending a few extra photos today to placate this emotional mama. Not only did Kate, the center’s director, immediately say, “of course!!”, she also asked if there was anything she could do for me personally, and reassured me that she was there if my family needed anything. Three hours later and I’ve already received a plethora of extra photos and updates, exactly what I needed to get through this morning at work.I’m so grateful for this center and their dedication to the kids and their families. Thanks for being there for us.

I give one star due to the new staff change. It was much more organized when Ms Britt and Ms Tiffanie we’re running the day care. It has been such a mess and high waiting times to pick up students . When I stand in line for pick up I have heard lots of parents complaints. Hopefully they can improve their process. I also give one star because I wish there was more teaching to prepare the kids for kindergarten.

Love this daycare for my kiddos! My 2.5-yr-old girls love to talk about what they did at school that day and have now named their stuffed bears after their kindercare teachers. Sometimes they ask if they can go to daycare, which is really reassuring as a parent. Plus I love being able to see what my girls are up to by getting photos of them on the app during the day. Great place.

This place is amazing! I have never felt so at ease to hand my child off to somebody. The center is clean and organized. It is clear that there is teaching happening in every classroom. The teachers have great communication with families.

I give them three stars. We really did not like them very much. They spend too much time outside sunburning the kids. Plus the director whom likes to wear cowboy boots barefoot was not the example I expected. Mind you that the teachers were great, the place is clean, it is safe, there and so many good things to say about this location. Truly if the Director was not so mouthy for sure they would have 4 stars from me and they need to teach more and sunburn less to get that 5th star out of me. 3 stars and a thank you.

This center is amazing! My son has gone there since he was three months old. He is now 16 months old and loves going everyday! The teachers are so caring and supportive. My son has never had a day where he struggled to leave our arms and go into his teacher's arms. I have peace of mind knowing he is in a caring environment. Plus, the art and educational activities he does look so fun!

I was hesitant about taking my daughter to any daycare center and just leaving her there with strangers. But when I found Canyon Point Kinder Care and net the pleasant, welcoming staff, all my worries were subsided.
