This is a great park! Lots of pet enforcement to keep dogs on leash. The walking path is nice. It gets really crowded on weekends in the summer. The tubing is so much fun. Try to get the shuttle if you can! It’s worth it!

(Drone Drive by #4) Golden is one of my favorite spots to do my hobby. Not to mention, the Golden Mill and the bars all are fairly good to visit.

It doesn’t get much better than this free outdoor accessible activity.Borrow a tube and float the River when it’s hot out. The whole community of people take care of each other and watch out for each other.Highly recommend as a cool down activity in the heat of summer!

I used to love to play here when I was little. This river is known to my family as Coors Beer River. ?

OMG it’s took me a while but I finally found one of the beautiful and fun locations in CO, if you love the nature and to enjoy your time out you must visit there. Perfect spot

This place was beautiful! You can rent a tube and helmet for the day and race down the rapids, and even if you don't want to you can just hang out by the river and dip your toes.... It can be crowded but it is easy to jump in at any time on the river. Also every Saturday during the summer there is a farmers market located on the river near the library and it has a lot of neat things!Restrooms: There are restrooms located in the library.Picnic area: You can sit pretty much anywhere and have a picnic.

We love this place. Easy parking, and fun tubing. Except be really careful it can be deceiving how fast and rough the water can be. My wife rolled in one of the waterfalls and I thought she drowned but the water was so swift she was down stream gasping for air, while I was desperately looking upstream at the last place I saw her. Just be careful!!

This year's wet spring and rain in early summer makes the water level in the clear creek very reasonable as July 2023.Great park with trail along the clear creek provides a lot of access points and rest spots.Great parking spots at upper end and good space near the lower end. With vendors offer rental for gears so you don't need to buy your own.Golden mill near the lower end as well as other vanue nearby for quick bites.

I pretty much grew up in a canoe and have done a lot of tubing, so I thought a ride down Clear Creek would be great fun. Let me tell you, it was the exact opposite of fun. Taking an inner tube, which you cannot steer, through whitewater is the definition of insanity. There's a lot of things the outfitters don't tell you; one is that the rocks are extremely slick. Combine slick rocks with extremely swift water and you cannot stop and you cannot walk - you are completely at the mercy of the rolling water. A super crowded river adds to the danger. Another thing the outfitters don't tell you is that every year someone dies in Clear Creek. Google it. It's no joke. Unless the water is just extremely low, skip the tubing on Clear Creek and enjoy the rest that Golden has to offer.

This area has come a very very long way since I was a young adult. In 2004 it was nearly non existent but by 2006 it primarily is what it is today structurally. It kind of feels like the trails west of the highway have been redeveloped and improved and of course the eddy tap room and Basecamp are just off the trail just shy of the underpass. Going the other direction it now connects into the bike trail going to arvada. There has been a HUGE growth of just nonstop tourists going tubing and alot of goldenites do not take too kindly to them. If you want quiet you need to go way up the mountain. From Washington to the highway it's one mass conglomerated section of dogs people on bikes, people milling around, strollers and people carrying kayaks up and down the trail. It gets dangerous if you aren't paying attention. In the winter there is some sort of outfitter retailer that offers polar dips too

Went tubing down the river in late May water was high and current was super fast almost died and everyone just laughed at us as we got swallowed up by whirlpools and slammed against rocks definitely don’t go in here unless you’re very experienced .
