Always friendly and helpful. I have banked there for 5 years or so. Never had a problem and I don't bank anywhere else

Their website says 2.99% interest for a loan but they told me it went up to 3.49 the day before it just wasn't updated... After I got a approved for a loan and went to use the loan the dealership said the bank told them the interest rate was 5.64%. It went from 2.99 to 3.49 to 5.64. They refuse to give me my approval letter in the beginning and wrote me up one manually and posted it on a cover letter to make me think my interest rate was going to be 3.49 and waited till I was ready to commit to a vehicle just to find out my interest rate was 2.15% more than what they told me. No wonder why they didn't want me to get my hands on the original document. They said Gmail wasn't delivering their emails so I asked them to mail me it to my P.O. Box and two weeks later, nothing... An incompetent bank right here.

I can't believe these cheapskates. If it were possible, I'd give them zero stars. The CO-OP Shared Branch Network allows members of one credit union to perform a range of transactions at another credit union. Through this network, a member of a participating credit union has access to over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs and over 5,600 shared branches. But are these neanderthals part of that network? Noooo! At the counter, a teller told me that it's "too expensive for them to participate. Are you kidding me?! Man I thought I had seen it all, but this takes the cake. Do yourself a favor, and take your business elsewhere. By the way, besides the tellers and the guard, there were no other people in the branch. Gee, I wonder why.

Avoid at all costs. If you ever have a fraudulent charge, their card services department makes it an absolute pain to get your money back. I’m out almost $1,000 and they expect me to produce a letter from the fraudulent party stating that the charge is fraudulent. Absolutely ridiculous, how am I supposed to get someone who charge me 4 times more than they were supposed to admit to it? This credit union is terrible.

As far as banking goes, this is as good as it gets. The people are as nice as can be and actually know what they are doing. I have been a customer for 10+ years and have not had any problems. Car loan, home loan, checking and savings, debit and credit card all good. I moved from WFargo and never looked back.

So far so good this place is great. I can't say enough good things about this place so I will leave it to your imagination.

I opened my account here when I was a student at Mines and loved their service so much that I still use CU of CO as my primary bank even now that I live on the East Coast. Service is way better than you'll get at a big bank.

We have been members in Golden for almost 10 years. We have had absolutely no issues at all with CUCO. Even if we happen to bank at another location out of convenience. We are signed up for paperless communications and they have always picked up when I called. Just for the record, who calls a place while standing in line? You are probably the same guy that posted a year before and you wanted to be vindictive. I have 2 lines that ring in my office all day long, but I can't answer them because it is not my job.

They really don't answer the phone. Been trying to call and close my account as they still send snail mail to old address. Snail mail?! come on its 2011 we have email now. Was disappointed with the debit cards offered by this institution. Debit cards offered by this institution don't won't work as debit at many popular places (such as Home Depot) and they will have to be run as credit (no pin # rewards or the ability to get cash back). Bring your money somewhere else.
