I love our fairgrounds! I'm very grateful for Open Ride times to get more training on my horses. It's a bonus that the faculty is so nice!

It is reported to be a Covid testing place, BUT IT IS NOT ANYMORE!! Walgreens seems to be the best for that nowadays.

Went to the fairgrounds for a covid test and the process is easy. The hard part is getting 3 ml of spit into a tube. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

ABSOLUTELY ZERO STARS. I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO IF I COULD! Don't go here if you're looking for covid-19 testing! I set up an appointment at 11:45 to go get tested and once I arrived, it was all the westerners horse riders (i think they had an event there) and i continue past it to a sigh that said covid testing. MIND YOU, This is the ONLY sign there was about it. the roads were all closed off (not because of the westerniers) basically every road had a closed gate and there was absolutely no way to get to the covid testing drive through. The sign was extremely confusing and did not help at all. i drove around for 30 minutes looking for it ( bing 30 minutes late to my appointment) only to find it and the gates were closed to that as well. This was a very frustrating experience since it was impossible to find and having one sign that gave me absolutely no information. i wish there were more signs or arrows telling drivers where to go to get to the testing drive through. As i got there, it was closed. It's like they purposely made it like this to frustrate people. This was the most ridiculous experience i've had with the jefferson county fairgrounds

Stopped here to get grass evaluated as to why it is sick. They were closed for a staff meeting for an hour so we hung around. Pretty plants to look at.

I can't believe how much people are getting into this, lol. I think I'd rather go pet a chicken or rope the calf.
