Mesa Vet is the absolute best! The staff is amazing and the doctors are top notch and always follow up after every visit. The pricing is fair and they have flexible appointment options every day of the week. Can't recommend enough!!!

Between my two dogs, I think we saw nearly every vet in this practice across the past 9 years. I felt confident in the care they received there, and will miss having them as our vets, now that we've relocated across the country. I should also mention that the rest of the staff has been excellent to work with as well.

Went from great, to absolute TRASH. I won't be returning with any of my pets, after trusting them with care for over 10 years.I took my dog for bloodwork in November 2023 because he had behavior changes, and turns out his thyroid was very low. They prescribed a med for this as well as fluoxitine (Prozac) for his anxiety. In January 2024, I was trying to schedule other routine items for both my dogs and the practice infoms me that the dog they just prescribed meds for is overdue for an exam with them and they can't prescribe any medication. I had taken him to another practice the previous year because I moved and I had supplied them all the records, and he was current on his exam.Even so, they were adamant they had to give him an exam or they can't prescibe meds, and then refused to refill his thyroid med and prozac. Prozac can't be stopped abruptly--it can cause severe reactions such as seizures. So I called Mesa to talk to a supervisor. Hillary comes to the phone and is telling me the same thing "we can't legally prescribe medication unless we do an exam"At this point I had already looked up the statute and informed her this is not the law, only a client relationship must be established to prescribe meds, and we do have this. She then says its a policy that Mesa has and blatantly refuses to refill the Prozac I have less than a weeks worth of doses left. I told her assemble both my dogs records as I will not be returning and I will likely file a complaint with the state of CO for malpractice against them. She sends me my dogs records and in the email states I"m not allowed to come back, like I want to after this? This place has turned into a joke and I was left scrambling to find a refill of prozac for my dog. These people do not care about the well being of your pets. Owners beware.

Mesa Veterinary Hospital are wonderful staff and veterinarians. They always are so accommodating and they really tried to get your pet in when you can't get in anywhere else. I really have to give him a kudos for that! Highly recommend this Hospital

This place is a rip off. They don’t care about helping you and your pets, they only care about making money. Their fees are ridiculous and they won’t try simple solutions to see if they help before running expensive testing. You can’t leave their office for less than $400, even if it’s just a wellness check.

I have used the Mesa Veterinary Hospital since the 1990's. I brought many species of snakes to Dr. Batch. In 2007, I brought my new service dog, a standard Poodle, Tessa for shots, spaying, and general health care. This office has always treated me with compassion, kindness, and expertise. Each practioner provided comfort and caring to Tessa. Dr. Horst provided great treatment for her. In 2016, I added another standard Poodle to my home. Her name is Molly. Mesa vets has provided great service, care, and treatment for her, as well. On June 21, 2021, Tessa passed away, and Mesa vets once again, provided me with support and compassion. Mesa Vets provides the best care for our fury family members (and creepy, crawling slithering pets). I have recommended them to many people.

Since moving to Colorado with our senior dogs, Mesa has been nothing but amazingly supportive and wonderful in their care. The whole staff but specifically Dr. Dieckmann is wonderfully caring, patient, and knowledgeable. Very happy to have such support for our dogs in their advanced years.
