I went to do a horse visit for a horse I was very interested in and upon meeting realized it wouldn't have been the best fit for my needs at the moment and the head trainer Vera asked me very thorough questions and introduced me to an amazing horse that we instantly fell in love with based on her opinion of the best match and now I look forward to moving forward with our new equine family member! The facility is very beautiful and clean and the volunteers and organization is a blessing to horses and the horse community being able to provide another option to auction, kill pens, etc! Im glad the organization exists and the love and care of the horses is superb. I highly recommend adopting through them and or volunteering!

Extremely disgusted by one of the trainers at this facility, we were very interested in one of the horses, unfortunately, we will not be returning due to how we were treated.

I went to this rescue to check out a horse. I was very interested in, very nice lady let us in and introduced us to the trainer, she was extremely rude and judgmental, it took me back, she immediately assumed I knew nothing about horses when in fact, she was wrong, I will never return to this facility due to the trainer at this facility. I literally left taken back at how I was treated

I've been volunteering here for over 3 years and it is an organization that has earned my utmost respect. Volunteers are incredibly enthusiastic and there are opportunities to work up to more responsibility as you spend more time around the ranch. They provide opportunities for education for volunteers that furthers the horse's growth and adoptability. The horses that pass through these gates are incredibly lucky to be taken care of by Margaret and the rest of the volunteers.

Sadly, the hospitality of this place is terrible. They aren’t very nice and welcoming. I showed up early and wasn’t allowed to stay. So I left and was 5 minutes late and asked to leave in front of 10 other volunteers. It was just a disappointment and I would not recommend volunteering here if you can help it. They obviously have tons of help and there are lots of other places to volunteer. Not a good experience.

Great people and saving horses is worth the volunteer hours.

Staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly. A solid organization to volunteer with. I am a new volunteer and just completed my first day there. A myriad of ways to contribute and if you're inclined, you can adopt a rescue horse. Very impressive operation with its limited resources.

The nicest people! If I was a horse, this is where I would want to retire.

Teaching people about caring for horses, what owning a horse will be like and working to place horses in new homes.
