I’m a property manager, and my community hasn’t received mail in nearly a week. I filed a case online but decided to visit the post office in person to get clarity on what my residents should do to retrieve their mail. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating. I was told to leave my contact information for the supervisor, but the staff member I spoke with seemed irritated by my presence and repeatedly brushed me off. I left with no guidance and no answers to provide my residents. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

We have been visiting this post office many times and always service has been nice and very friendly. That's why I don't understand some bad reviews about their rude service. We never experienced that! Location is also excellent in downtown Golden.

My house has been marked vacant since it was abandoned years ago. When addressing the issue of not receiving mail they told me to do an change of address form. This was not the solution so I called the usps main line and they advised me it has to be processed again as an active address and that the CoA form would be denied. I am missing my ID from the DMV along with bank cards. They wanted to continue their gossip about the Uber eats driver they just had.

I'm the fool, I screwed up. I failed to set up any forwarding or stop to service when, due to personal reasons, I was unable to attend to my mailbox. I was later informed that the carrier kept delivering until they could no longer fit anything into the box, they then pulled everything out and left a note that service would be suspended until the recipient (me) confirmed the address was occupied and the box would be attended to. When I was finally able to check the box I was embarrassed at the note. I called this office and they were incredibly understanding and friendly. Service resumed and a few days later I apologized and thanked the carrier in person.
It seems many of these bad reviews are from folks in a rush, people misusing the office property, and misunderstandings of the services the postal service provides. I just want to say that the Golden Post Office goes above and beyond in my experience.

I made the mistake of parking in their employee parking lot and one of their employees made a point to harass me instead of simply asking me to move my truck. Went above and beyond to try and prove his point. Im disabled and had my child with me, there are limited spots on the street. The man inside turned into a bully and not a simple request to move my vehicle. Zero empathy and made the choice to be this mean human seeing that I had a child in my arms. Pretty much sums up the state of most people these days, rude, full of themselves and lacking understanding and empathy for others. Give this guy a gold star for being a true douche bag employee of the month.

Service has deteriorated badly over the years. Employees know they can't be fired and behave accordingly.

Super friendly staff and the interactions I've had every time I've come in have been lovely. The lines have moved quickly the times I've come in and the staff is efficient and patient. I appreciate the hard work and positive environment.

There wasn't any line, and both of the workers were incredible kind and friendly. I wasn't in a rush, but they were still efficient and lovely to interact with. Also, it's a pretty cool building it's located in!
