This place was popping- one of the best French toasts I've ever had! Came here on a Sunday morning with a friend, we were seated in the patio outside, they also had blankets out there which was nice. The French toast was immaculate- comes with caramelized apples and mascarpone cream. Definitely check this place out if looking for a nice brunch spot in the Potrero hill area!

So good but you already know it. We all know that potatoes are life, and Plow knows that too. Their potatoes are on another level! I would go there just so I can have their biscuit and potatoes. Everything is great but potatoes have my heart.

The line on the weekend is completely a fever dream. We went last weekend & instead of going by the list, they went by how many people were in the party. I was in line for 2 hours (we were a party of 4) and we watched so many folks just walk up because they were a party of 2. When they finally called us, they told us it would be another for the table to be cleared. We sat for 15 minutes before someone greeted us at all. We wanted to order food because we had sat long enough to know what we wanted, but no one tended to us. We didn't get to try the food, but it did look nice. We ended up leaving because we had tickets to an event that started at 1:15pm. It was already 12:45pm. We want to try again during the week when it's less busy. Consider other options if you're in a time crunch.

It took me forever to come here and it's pretty solid but I'm not sure it's worth what can be a pretty long wait. The (for some reason italicized) plow potatoes are probably the highlight. My crab omelette was otherwise solid but not life changing. It's bunch semi-elevated but it's not life changing. I'd say it's worth a 20-25 min wait but it can be a lot longer than that.

My boyfriend and I came on a Saturday at around 10:30am and there was already a lot of people eating and people waiting in front. This was our first time and was looking forward to trying this place for awhile. Looking from the outside, the restaurant is pretty small inside, but there was a good amount of seating outside. We put our name down and they said it was going to be a 20 minute wait so we were thrilled. We had waited 40 minutes which is totally fine but being told that the wait would be shorter was kind of misleading even though I was already expecting to wait an hour. We were the last table to get our food even though we had ordered before the others, which I was kind of disappointed about after waiting 30 minutes for the food. We both got The Plow and I got the chicken sausage and my boyfriend got the house made pork sausage patties. For the meal, I preferred the sausage patties over the chicken sausage since they had more flavor but just on the dry side. The lemon ricotta pancakes were dense and tasty with a fragrant lemon flavor, but a little small. The scrambled eggs were one of the silkier and fluffier scrambled eggs I've had in a while. The potatoes were seasoned with rosemary which was pretty good, but nothing too special about it. They also gave about a tablespoon of syrup, it's not much but it reduces waste! Overall, the food was decent and tasty, but it was pretty pricey and I wouldn't wait over 30 minutes for it again. However, I would try Plow at least once if you're in SF and like lemon ricotta pancakes!

My girlfriend and I arrived on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and put our names down for either inside or outside seating. We were given a 20 min estimate but turned out to be closer to 40 mins. The amount of people waiting for a table doubled during that time too! They don't ask for your phone number and just call out your name when it's your turn. We both ordered the Plow; I got housemade pork sausage patties and my girlfriend got the chicken sausage. I liked the chicken sausage more as I felt like it had more flavor. The lemon ricotta pancakes were tasty and a good size. They gave us a small amount of syrup as well. The potatoes were crispy and well made. We waited around 40 minutes after ordering for our food. Although we placed our order before other tables were seated, it seemed like we got our food last. Nonetheless, the food is tasty but a bit pricey and long wait times. I appreciated the blankets they gave us when seating outside.

This is the best breakfast in sf and I think I've been here about 10 times. It was fun to sit at the chef's table! My favorite are the potatoes and lemon ricotta pancakes. I also like to ask for crispy bacon.

The food is great, but honestly after five consecutive visits, we all walked away with the same thought: the customer service is subpar. The staff members all seem unfriendly and engaging with them, however briefly, always leaves a sour taste. Not sure if we will continue to visit.

The food was good but nothing blew me away. We got the Plow and Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The homemade sausage was amazing, just like you had made it at home. I'm also pretty sure they use pasture raised eggs which I thought was nice! Service was good inside but the host said it was going to be a 45 minute wait. Okay, we went and got coffee came back (they don't take your number down) and if you aren't standing there right when they call your name you're skipped for that open table! We were lucky enough to be standing there when they went through 5 names, but a couple that got there before us ended up outside because they went to get a coffee down the street and showed up after there name was called. Overall $80 including 20% tip for 2 people.

It's been over a year since I returned to dine here and the overall experience has gone down. The service alone soured my visit so that I won't come back here again. We arrived at 8:30 am on a weekday and were seated right away, but they were rushing us out of the door by 9:30 am. The waitress even took my plate away without asking if I was done! If they'd asked us to leave because of a line, of course we would have left. But there wasn't a line and they didn't ask us to leave, so I don't understand why they were passive aggressively shooing us out before I could finish my meal. There's quite literally 2 inches of space between the 2-person tables so it felt like my friend and I were right on top of the table next to us. This was uncomfortable and I could tell the people next to us felt the same way. The prices have increased and the portions are smaller. I was mildly annoyed when they charged me $1 for a small side of oat milk to go with my $5 drip coffee. The potatoes aren't as crispy as I remember. The food was serviceable but not good enough to justify the other issues I mentioned. Plow is overhyped and definitely not worth waiting in that long line on the weekend.

One of the best porchetta sandwiches I've had! Lemon ricotta pancakes were such a pleasant treat! However the food did take quite a while to be served.

Amazing food. Great breakfast/brunch ambiance. Wait was a little hurtful but completely understandable. You are waiting for good food and pretty good service for a decently small place. Show up early to make it on the wait list which can take a while but definitely worth the wait.

I anticipated having to wait (even on a Monday) for a table around 11am. My mother and I waited about 40 minutes to be seated and have coffee in hand. We opted for sitting outside against the building but quickly regretted that decision when we realized you are quite literally sitting at a slant. A table opened up in the parklet and I asked the host to move who made up an excuse that once we order our food we can't move. This isn't Eleven Madison Park be so for real with me. I almost started laughing and just walked away without saying anything further. My mother got the egg sandwich and I had the soft scramble. While I loved the eggs, I wasn't impressed by the ricotta pancakes which didn't taste like lemon. I appreciate that the food is not over salted, buttered, or oiled. The blankets are a nice touch too. It had been a few years since I had been back and I don't have a reason to return. There's a lot of great places with better customer service out there.

Have to admit the lengthy wait time is intimidating (I live around the block and there seems to always be a line no matter the day or time of day). Having said that the menu had delicious options (some items weren't featured in the online menu), we went with the Chinese chicken salad (left a little to be desired on the crunch factor but good overall), the almond flour pancakes (also good but expectedly a wee bit dry) and the Dungeness crab eggs and potatoes (potatoes in particular were delicious). Worth noting if you're seated in the park let area they do provide blankets incase you get chilly easily. I'd give a 4 star but I'm giving an extra star because I'm in a good mood, lucky for them :)

Always expect at least a 15 min wait when you come here. This time came on a Friday with a party of 4 and had to wait like an hour. Whenever I come I always have to have the lemon ricotta pancakes (note: not as good as takeout). This time I ordered the breakfast sandwich that comes with their plow potatoes and my friend was kind enough to give me some of his lemon ricotta pancakes haha. The fried egg sandwich was very delicious with a soft brioche bun, slightly runny egg and some greens to make you feel "healthy." However, the plow potatoes were even better as they were fried to perfection with the right amount of crunchiness. Have it with their house hot sauce and yum! The lemon ricotta pancakes were on point as usual (slight hint of lemon, soft and pillowy texture). Come here for a treat and when you aren't pressed for time. You can always grab a farleys coffee down the street to enjoy while you wait!
