“My wife stopped here for mining permit so they could dig for barite crystals just down the road from here. The folks were kind and helpful. The digging permit wasn’t that expensive somewhere between 10 and $25. They had a great time digging, but did recommend heavier digging equipment than what they brought. They brought like a hand row and a little hand cultivator, and they said it would’ve been helpful to have an actual shovel and an actual pic and an actual rake and a couple more buckets. Overall, they had a good time and we’re gonna come better prepared next time.”
