They were thorough and efficient. They placed padding around our front door and wrapped our big pieces of furniture, so that there wouldn’t be any damage. We also needed last minute help disposing of a chair and loveseat, and they were able to take them away for us at a reasonable price! I would definitely use them again. We appreciate their help!”
“Moving is always stressful, which is why it's so important to hire good movers! This was my 2nd local move with Spyder moving and storage company and both times I was so impressed by how punctual and efficient the movers were, not to mention their overall professionalism and friendliness. Both moves went as smooth as you could hope for and it was due to their high level of experience. I appreciated how organized and thorough they were, whether its was expertly dissembling/assembling furniture, wrapping up furniture to ensure they were safely transported, making sure boxes were labeled, so they knew where to put them, and offering to take away empty boxes after the move. I was also grateful for how friendly they were to my dog who was around during the move. They even managed to make it a pleasant experience for him by always taking a moment to pet him when they passed by him, despite how busy they were!”

“We used Home Grown moving and storage for combining two houses worth of furniture into one new home. We were blessed to be given their A team. Adrian, Daniel, Emmanuel and Eric worked tirelessly for 11 hours. They were courteous, professional, and did a fabulous job. I would use Home Grown Moving again, however, I’m not excited about doing this again anytime soon. It’s a huge job to move.”

“U-Haul has problems sometimes, but my U-Box experience was flawless, especially on the Denver warehouse's end. Alexandrea and the rest of the warehouse crew were all courteous, helpful, and prompt. Literally could not ask for better staff.All in all, I got a small apartment worth of stuff (including a fragile old china/curio cabinet) from NJ to CO, safely and conveniently, for ~$1500 total. Estimates for other options ranged from $2500 to $4500.This includes having the box dropped at a house in NJ, picked up a few days later, arriving in Denver in about one week, and then making several trips to the Denver warehouse to unload. (They have multiple options for delivery but for my situation it was easiest to just go to the warehouse.)A couple suggestions if you are thinking about using a U-Box:1. If you have a tight deadline for the container to arrive, you may be playing with fire, as the transit time likely varies. I didn't have a pressing need for anything in the box (I can live without a china cabinet for an extra week), so that removed a lot of stress/uncertainty.2. When packing the box, consider that it is going to get fork-lifted multiple times. If you've seen a professional operate a fork-lift, you have a sense of the kind of acceleration your load will experience. There are tiedown points all over the inside of the box, so use them. Follow the loading instructions or ask someone who knows before you close up your box for shipping.3. Get a combination padlock for the box so that keys don't have to be shipped cross-country too.So basically if you load properly and don't have to stress about transit times, U-Box is a great option. And once it gets to the Denver warehouse it is in very good hands.”
