“I've had 2 Minis and appreciate the care from the dealership, but there was a hiccup at my most recent service call. I'd had requested a loaner car when I made the appointment and was told there would be one. When I arrived I was told there was not one, so I had to change my plans. It would have been better service to have let me know ahead of time - or even better..make sure there was one. They were quick on the service work however, so it wasn't too inconvenient.”

Little did I know I’d need some repaint on my special car a short while later. I brought it over, Ron looked at it and we setup an appointment for the job. “Overall, my experience with 5250 was good, but not without challenges. I brought in an LS swap with Painless wiring and ECU. The team got started quickly, but I felt the ECU was dismissed too soon as the root issue, despite Painless being a reputable brand. After trailering the car two hours, I had to bring down a factory ECU to continue. When tuning still didn’t go smoothly, I was told it was a wiring issue and that they couldn’t spend more time on it. Ultimately, the real problem was an incorrect O2 sensor (internal ground vs external ground style) an honest overlook when I ordered. While I appreciate the effort and understand the demands of this industry, I expected more professional communication and less product-blaming throughout the process.”
“I left a bad review five plus years ago (which I just deleted) and I started going back to this store a few years ago and the knowledge and service has been good since I came back. “Over the past month, I’ve been contemplating a significant turbo project for my Audi. I was already somewhat familiar with SCR because they had performed a couple of software upgrades for my son’s car in the past. I reached out to them with my ideas, and they were more than happy to oblige.
I also contacted other tuner companies in the area to get quotes, and they were all comparable to SCR. While SCR was the cheapest, I didn’t want to say that because, in the automotive industry, “cheapest” often doesn’t equate to “best.” However, in this case, it was the case. So, I decided to go with SCR.
A week later, we finally received the call to come pick up the car. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, Mark. He was a really cool guy. I spent about 15 minutes chatting with him about all things Audi and Porsche, and he was more than happy to share any information I might find useful. If you have a BMW, Audi, or Porsche, or anything that goes fast, SCR is the only place to take it.
I also wanted to thank Gary for his help in deciphering what we were trying to do with the car. We changed the type of turbo we wanted to use on him about three different times. Plus the endless calls after you received our car.
FYI- The turbo sounds amazing and the car drives like a uncaged monster now. And no codes….. for now ?”

“This is easily the best NAPA I’ve been to. The front of the store is nicely organized and has products that I haven’t typically seen at other auto parts stores. I stopped in because I needed a set of black lug nuts for some wheels that I just bought. The guy at the counter (didn’t catch his name but had glasses and 3/4 sleeve tattoos) went in back to look for the set and found them hiding the second time that he went back to look. Awesome store, great experience and they had exactly what I needed when 3 other auto parts stores didn’t. I’ll be using this NAPA store from now on.”
“I was referred to Curt by another body shop who only does collision work. It was encouraging to find that he also does rust repair (albeit with no guarantee.) I have a '95 Celica that needs something major every 5-10 years, so it was worth taking a chance on this investment to continue having a nice daily driver that's paid for. I have had a good dozen body shops make promises and end up unable/unwilling to finish the job correctly (which is... you can't tell there was ever anything wrong.) Body work must be next to impossible... so I don't need someone with a slick presentation. This guy takes pride in his work, and can make art out of his craft.”
