Great selection of nearly everything--more liquor, wine and beer than I imagined before walking inside. Very clean store too. While I was wandering around checking things out, three different employees asked me if I needed help finding anything in particular or if I had any questions--that's almost unheard of anywhere else! Prices seem to be the same as other places and they offer delivery, which I may use in the near future. When I check out, they signed me up for their loyalty program. In all, a really great store with good people helping you.

After being a loyal customer to this liquor store, making weekly purchases since moving to Lafayette in January, I was refused service. I am 25 years old and upon presenting my valid ID I received from the DMV, I was told that it was a fake. The kid who refused to accept my ID was undoubtedly younger than I was and claimed he couldn't see the state seal on it. I have had my ID for over four years (since I was 21) I am now almost 26 and it expires in July so I have not yet gotten one of the updated IDs and it is a bit worn. It's interesting to me that some kid can deny my license which is the same exact one I've been successfully using with my background checks and through the state of Colorado to obtain my nursing license. I recommend that if you don't feel like being demeaned and unless you have an updated license, don't waste your time stopping into this liquor store.

I used to love the fact that Jackson's had a nice craft beer selection and is just down the street from my house etc.... "used to love" but, I've lost the love for this place. There is a grouch working there that has now TWICE chewed my daughter & I out loudly in the store. The first time months ago returning a keg, my daughter wants to help her daddy so she is carrying the empty keg into the store.... The dude screamed at her first to set the empty keg down then screamed at me about it as well. I let it go and though the dude was having a bad day. Fast forward to last week and I'm in there with my daughter again, my hands are full with 7 maybe 8 cans of beer I had picked out and my daughter tells me I should get this IPA over here so I ask her to open the fridge and grab 1 for me. Mr Grouch again friggin YELLS at my daughter to put the can down and proceeds to chew me out AGAIN about my kid touching a beer can in the store. I go up to the counter and set my cans down. I can buy beer lots of places, Hop Grenade is right by my business... I'm done with Jacksons. I told the dude at the register that I was not happy about that and also told him I would not be back.. F*** that place. My daughter is 11. She didn't need to hear this crap from that a*******

Absolutely fantastic selection of beer and spirits. I love checking out their beer selection and getting something new every time I come in. Their prices are super reasonable as well and are typically less expensive than Safeway's prices. We always have great, friendly service when we stop by. Support your local businesses!!

This place is horrible, terrible service when I selected the wrong product and asked to change it they said all sales are final..no discussion standing at the counter..F**K them..will never go again and hope you loose business

Ok, I have been a regular customer at this store for 10 plus years. I think they have an exceptional selection of well priced spirits and wines. So why the 3 star revue? Because with one notable exception, their staff seems really unappreciative. (They wait for you to thank them for being unhelpful, to which they quickly answer, "YOURE WELCOME"). They never say thank you for coming in, and patronizing our establishment. They are so unappreciative! Maybe the ownership is mean to them, so they don't feel like they can be nice to their customers, maybe I don't look like I drive a Maserati. Either way, they should really learn how to make ALL their customers feel appreciated.

Great high end wine cooler in the back left corner. Great verticals of older Napa cabernet and port. They always have some of the best pricing on hard to find scotches as well. My go to place for wines and spirits in the east bay.

Came here on my hunt for Japanese Whiskies! I had called prior to stopping here in person and was helped by an older gentleman. He put me on hold briefly and was kind enough to walk over to the shelves to read off which Japanese whiskies he had in stock. After work I stopped off at the store and could only find 2 of the 4+ that he had mentioned. I walked up to the counter and there was a different gentleman at the register. He walked me back over to the whisky shelves and pointed out the other ones that I couldn't seem to find. They didn't have the exact one that I was looking for, but they did have Yamazaki 12 and Nikka Pure Malt Takesturu. When I went back to the counter, there was an older gentleman at the register. He asked if I was the one who had called earlier and I nodded, "yes". With a smile, he thanked me for coming in. I will be returning in the future to pick up more whisky/whiskey and wine. I didn't have a chance to browse their wine selection, but they have a lot! I'm excited to see and try their local offerings!

I am holding my judgement for a few more days, but they seem to be impossible to get shipments from. I ordered a case of wine on 6/22. A shipping label was created and my credit card was charged on 6/23. However, my shipment has yet to move. I have sent 3 emails asking for information, and even though they promise to get back to you in one business day, I am still waiting for a response 5 days later. I ordered this wine 11 days ago. They must be making a batch up especially for me! I will update this review, if I ever get an update myself
