Button Rock far exceeded expectations on my daughter's MammaMia! themed birthday cake. But was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. It really made the day extra special. Thank you Button Rock!

Expensive. $15 for a sandwich? C'mon. And they also want tips for a order-and-serve-from-the-counter kind of thing?

Its a nice little place. They had more of a "to go" set up for sushi that the particular day I went here I wasnt looking for. I was looking for more of a traditional sushi experience. The sushi they did have looked good and was reasonably priced.

I recently discovered Button Rock on Yelp and was pulled in by all of the good reviews. I was craving a lunch sandwich and they seemed to have some interesting options. I'm a sucker for a Turkey Rueben and the Turkey Rachel delivered in that category. The Turkey had a nice smoky flavor and was offset by the creaminess of the slaw and dressing. I don't think I've ever had Emmenthal cheese before and it was a nice alternative to Swiss and gave the sandwich some good flavor. The rye bread took the sandwich to another level. It was flavorful, but not overpowering like some rye can be and it was so perfectly crispy and buttery. It hit the spot for sure. The mama Lori was also good and had some nice meat variety. The ingredients all tasted very fresh. The bakery has so many options that all looked super tasty. I snagged a sugar cookie for my husband and he loved it.The prices are a bit steep with sandwiches running around $15, but the food is really good and I'm ok paying that if the ingredients are fresh and delicious which they are. I'm looking forward to trying a bunch more things and will update :)

The scones here are especially yummy - moist, sweet, huge. Be sure to pick up a few when you come in! They have a good selection of gluten-free goods. Their fruit pies are also very good. Other than scones we usually get off-the-shelf cakes here, which are very dense and rich but also very expensive (a normal-sized cake runs about 50 dollars). They will customize the cake with a message on top at no extra charge. We've only used the bakery part; they also have a deli and a sushi operation. The only bad experience we had here was with a custom birthday cake order, for which they lost the order, even after they had confirmed the order and confirmed that it would be ready at a stated time. I spent twenty minutes at the stated time waiting in the store while they ran around looking the order, before they gave up. To their credit, they made it right by baking the cake that day and delivering it to our house.

Lots of delicious items to try here in addition to loads of gf options, and some vegan options. I got the fruit cup, GF lemon bar, and GF blueberry scone. Everything was great. Fruit cup has no soggy fruit, lemon bar was tart and rich with a delicious crust, scone was a great texture and covered in granulated sugar. Will definitely be back to try more items! Especially the to go section which hosts a wide range of refrigerated prepared meals (again, with many GF and non GF options!)

This bakery is awesome!!! We love that they offer different dietary options: vegan, dairy free, gluten free. We found this bakery in our search for gluten free desserts. They had SO many options! It was a dream for anyone who's gluten intolerant. My sister ordered a GF cream puff, GF sugar cookie, GF cosmic brownie, GF cookie dough! All are so so so good!I ordered the chocolate confection (happens to be GF). It was a chocolate lovers dream. Sooo good and rich. I loved this bakery and their staff! Cute atmosphere as well. I could come here a million times and still have new options to try.

They I showed up for a couple of pastries and came to find out they had an entire breakfast / lunch menu! Everything looked fantastic and can't wait to go back! I left with 3 croissants: Plain / Almond / Chocolate and they were all very fresh, flaky, and delicious

It was my niece's birthday and looked up a last minute bakery to get her something for her birthday. Came across this place and decided to check it out. I'm so glad that I did. It's a cute place and looks like they make all sorts of baked goods. I ended up purchasing 4 cupcakes, 4 sugar cookies, and 4 cake bites. I was kinda afraid that all the baked goods may be too sweet. I was wrong! All of them were so delicious!!! I tasted all of them and they are worth the money. They all were not overly sweet at all; even the cupcake icings. I was really surprised and impressed. I really love the goodies. I'm so glad I stopped here. I most definitely will be coming back again.

My friend that I am staying with took me here last week and I'm so glad he did.My fiance and I split the corned beef rueben and the poutine fries and both were fantastic. My buddy got the meatball sandwich and he said it was great as well. They also had to-go sushi options and pastries which I might check-out if I get to go again.

My star rating:* Avoid. Why are you even open?** Avoid unless the last restaurant on earth.*** Several important misses. Not recommended.**** Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.***** Hits every mark of perfection.Last year I ordered two birthday cakes. I selected a cake for my wife, from their examples picture book, with lots of flowers. They said they could make the same. Well, it had about 1/4 of the number of flowers. The second time I went, I ordered a YELLOW cake for my mother, but when I picked it up it was ORANGE. The staffer said that was the only color they had. No phone call prior to alert me to see how I wanted to proceed. At about $80+ a cake, I would expect to get what was ordered. They were both moist and had wonderful flavor, but I will not buy from BRB again.

The salad...The salad...THE SALAD!Clearly, I'm on a Button Rock Bakery kick again. My latest discovery is for when you're craving something FRESH, LIGHT, and WITH A BAM OF FLAVOR! That's right, I'm talking about the Nutty Kale. It's a salad filled with the tastiest marcona almonds, tarteist craisins, fresh baby tomatoes, plump blueberries, and creamiest goat cheese with a delightful lemon-thyme vinaigrette. It's amazing, and it's GF. I love scooping this up on the days when I need HEALTH in my life. You know? When you're either getting ready to go out of town and know you won't be in control of your diet, or when you're coming back from a trip and know you went a little too ham on the holiday Roast Beef! When all you want is a bowl of greens, but you still need your tastebuds to love it. This is it. This is THE SALAD. ***BONUS NOTE*** There are three other salads to choose from here. - Iceberg Wedge made w/ House Ranch- If Looks Could Kale Caesar Salad made w/ Anchovy Caesar Dressing- Off the Hook w/ a Country Dijon DressingI've never strayed from my Nutty Kale so I cannot comment on them. However, I have a picture of the Off the Hook. It's my BFs favorite!

This was my first time ordering from Kenny and Lou’s and my experience was a little disappointing. After a long day of work I decided I wanted sushi for dinner and thought I’d give K&L’s a try. I ordered $80 worth of sushi online since it was an easy way to order and was advised on their website. When I got to the restaurant I noticed that the sushi bar was closed. When I approached the counter I let the woman working know that I ordered online, she explained that she tried to call me and left a message (I never got a missed call or voicemail, but that’s not her fault, cellphone service sucks) She let me know that the sushi chef had left for the day so my order wasn’t able to be completed. She had pulled 3 items out of their cooler that I had ordered but two rolls were missing… she offered me a refund for the missing rolls or I could pick two other items out of their cooler as replacements. I was counting on this order as dinner for both me and my boyfriend so I picked things out of the cooler, unfortunately the options were extremely limited with only three rolls stocked in the cooler. I was too tired from a long day off work and generally put off from the experience to double check the prices on the two items I picked out of the cooler, but once I got home I realized they were definitely cheaper than the original rolls I had ordered and paid for. Luckily the food was very good, but I felt awkward walking in to the restaurant and discovering that the chef had left despite me placing my order an hour before closing time. I work in the service industry and understanding how complicated online ordering systems can be, but I think it would be helpful to disable the online ordering function when the chef leaves early. Just generally not an $80 experience.
