Shawn is very responsive and available to discuss insurance coverage.
His office has been impressively responsive in all claim matters
He is always trying to find the best coverage value for the money and was able to find reductions in home insurance rate for following the directions of our previous agent to install impact/fire resistant shingles on our roof replacement.
Also, he is a man of his word - that's quite a big deal.

Shawn Hughes State Farm has always been very helpful anytime I have questions or concerns with my various policies. All of the staff are very friendly, knowledgable, easy to work with, and not pushy. They lay out all of the options available, but let you decide whats best for you and your family which I appreciate. Can't recommend Shawn Hughes enough!

I give Shawn more than 5 stars but State Farm management fewer, so I will average it out to 4. State Farm management is a pain in the neck to deal with, especially after a dwelling total loss, which we experienced.
Agents don't come better than Shawn. He helped us navigate SF mgt's issues, and there were many. And while we -- like every other wildfire survivor -- were under-insured, my husband and I were better off than most of our neighbors, thanks to Shawn's encouragement beforehand for us to increase our coverage.
Shawn also calmed me down after a yahoo going too fast in the snow rear-ended me. I was grateful for Shawn's reassurance.
Now that I am an experienced consumer, I know now to communicate immediately and honestly with our agent, and I feel I'm prepared to deal with mgt should we ever again suffer a large loss. I cannot believe how many paperwork mistakes SF management makes, but Shawn fixes everything.
Advice: Do not buy your insurance based on premiums! Too many of my neighbors did that, and they suffered financial catastrophies after the wildfire. Sure, premiums are important, but State Farm premiums are competitive. When you get that yearly notice from your insurance company, don't throw it in the trash. Call your agent and max out your coverage every single year. A good agent like Shawn will make sure your coverage is reasonable, and advise you on discounts you might be able to take.
Every person in Shawn's office is top-notch. I highly recommend getting home and auto insurance from Shawn Hughes in Colorado.

This state farm office and team are great! Anytime I need something, they are right on top of it, and are available by text and phone as well as the app! I have home, car, and life insurance through them!
