“For posterity: we had a great experience with Movemasters.
Moving is not fun, ever, but I have moved way too many times and seen the good and the bad and the extremely bad, and they were very good. Communication ahead of time was great (really thoughtful video walkthrough done by the owner of the company), their quote was quickly turned around and very reasonable, they were honest about supply pricing and saved me some money by sending me to U-Haul for boxes to use in advance, and the day-of pricing was very close to the quote they gave [based on hourly rate]. The team at our house was really solid— they were efficient but careful with our stuff, pleasant to be around, and really communicative about how it would be most helpful to organize the storage unit on the other end. I hope no one ever has use for this tip because moving is another circle of hell no matter what, but figured I would share because I have truly seen it all.”

They were thorough and efficient. They placed padding around our front door and wrapped our big pieces of furniture, so that there wouldn’t be any damage. We also needed last minute help disposing of a chair and loveseat, and they were able to take them away for us at a reasonable price! I would definitely use them again. We appreciate their help!”

He also pays his movers a fair wage, which means the movers do a better job. How do I know? I asked the movers does Russ take care of you? Both movers said they liked Russ and that he took care of them. Moving is hard enough without hiring a 5 star mover like 2 Guys 4 Hire.”

“Amazing customer service from start to finish. Their reps know the service offerings well, and were able to walk me through the options that suited our specific move. Going from a house, to a rental, and then ultimately to another house, the Relocubes were a great option to save money. We were able to store our non-essential items, but also had our essential items delivered to our rental before fully unloading at our new house. What stood out the most was the kindness and competency of everyone I interacted with at U-Pack, every time I called in. They not only saved us money compared to competitors, they treat people better too.”

They were ready to get to work, and despite the amount of stairs they had to utilize for moving our belongings, they didn't seem to bebothered by the amount of work they had to do, and they actually seemed to enjoy their job. They were very professional and friendly and efficient. They carefully wrapped my china cabinet, and none of my fragile items were broken during the move. It was such a smooth process from start to finish. I would definitely work with them again.
