Upon checkout, clerks are interested in how your day is and strike up conversation which I love. They have all different types of meats and flavors. A little deli section along with produce, tons of different cheeses to choose from, free range eggs, milk, along with other pantry goods! They have all the little things you need and the staples to complete your food stock! The pricing is amazing too!”

“Went in there to get some oxtail and tell me why this man pulls out a WHOLE FREAKIN ox tail and sliced it right in front of me. The meatiest oxtail Ive ever had. “I love everything about WSD! The warm welcoming shop atmosphere, thoughtful product diversity featuring other local vendors and the knowledgeable staff. Everything about this place is top tier. I ordered half a hog share and I was impressed with the entire process start to finish. When you order a hog share or cow share from farms, they generally don't give you all the options and level of detail that you get when ordering through WDB. They go into a lot more detail about your cuts, your options and generally just level set expectations to avoid any surprises at pickup. These extra considerations are greatly appreciated. Every cut was FRESH, vacuum sealed and labeled. When you order from a farm they usually freeze everything. I thought the fresh element was very thoughtful.When I picked up my order I asked a slew of other questions about the beef they sell and Griffin was patient and extremely helpful. I've been a customer of WSD over the last 8 years or so and I'm always impressed with the consistency of the products they sell as well as the knowledge and expertise of their staff. Truly remarkable! Keep up the great work!”

“By far the best carniceria I've been to in Denver. When you drive up, there is loud music blaring, there is everything you need to whip up an amazing and authentic Mexican dish and they have fresh tortillas for sale. There is also a restaurant in the back that had a line incredibly long so we weren't able to try it, but will definitely be back soon to do so!”

“This place is a local favorite of the Hispanic community as well as a gem for anyone and everyone. The staff is extremely pleasant and welcoming to anyone. They sell groceries, fresh produce, cheese, fish and meat. They have a small deli with meals like barbacoa that you can sit down and eat. The prices are reasonable and I love the small business feel. Anyone to stop at the doughnut store in the same parking lot, I always go in this store to look around and buy myself some fresh baked goods. This place always busy and it just feels "happy" as the vibe is so high and positive.”

“I happened to be up and out early this day, I don't recall why, but as I was heading home I was going to pass this particular King Soopers location, and it's one I've wanted to check out. I'm not a super market aficionado but any means, but from reading other reviews and seeing the pictures this place seemed exceptional in their selection so I thought I'd ever I was nearby and had a few minutes... I was not disappointed.I wandered each aisle and was quite impressed with all that is carried. I am more used to leaving a grocery store not being able to find all I was looking for. This time I was finding things I hadn't known before I wanted (frozen zucchini latkes, for example, which I enjoyed in place of English muffin, as the foundation to an Eggs Benedict I prepared when I arrived home).This is not my neighborhood grocery store, but it fortunately is not too far a drive. I will definitely be back. Next time, probably later in the day, when the deli, meat department, and bakery are open and staffed.Check it out.”
