Charles Whitlock Recreation Center offers a welcoming environment for new people. Pickleball teams are open to new people regardless of skill level, willing to teach. The facility has a lot of great equipment and is up to date equipment. Users enjoy working out there and want to work out more often. Drop‑in hours are limited; only Sunday mornings are not during school hours or 18+. The net is so high that it discourages younger athletes, and adults dominate the time, leaving no opportunity for youth to practice. Residents feel the center is expensive compared to big chain gyms, which are cheaper and have more to offer. The sauna is a popular amenity, but some users wish it stayed open longer and for an extra hour. Training hours are a little funky, but the space is not huge, yet it is spacious and has everything you need, with an active amount of people but not too many.
Good gym and locker rooms Super good weights Vball some Sat. Afternoons.
