The Wheat Ridge Recreation Center is a state-of-the-art public facility offering top-notch amenities with a hometown atmosphere. It features indoor lap and leisure pools, a hot tub, sauna, and steam room, alongside a gymnasium, fitness studios, and extensive free weights and cardiovascular equipment. The walking track, climbing wall, racquetball courts, and Children's Pavilion add to its value. Members praise the excellent staff and find the annual membership an awesome deal for families, ideal for late night swims or workouts. The rental spaces, like the ballroom, are an incredibly good deal for events. Some notes include that the pool can be either crowded or empty and that the upstairs gym area is lacking, with suggestions for better music volume, more entertaining TV programs, and additional storage cubbies.
