“We’ve been coming to PetWellness for a number of years after our previous vet retired. We interviewed multiple vet practices in Fort Collins and decided upon PetWellness. I’m so glad that we did because the care that we have received has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The doctors and vet techs can’t say enough good things about them. Dr. Mike has now done two ACL surgeries on our pointer and 1 ACL surgery on our FILs dog. They have been there for us from the most minor things to the most serious health concerns. The grooming department is exceptional and we partake in the swimming pool. We’ve referred many people here. This is by far the best vet practice in Northern Colorado!”

“My dog was not behaving normally after the heavy rainstorm we had in Ft. Collins on September 19th. My dog, Pepper is a new patient at this vet clinic. Dr. Higgins did a thorough job checking Pepper over and determined he had stressed his hind legs sometime during the rainstorm which explains why he didn’t want to go up and down the stairs in our 2 story home. She sent us home with medicine to reduce any inflammation in his legs. I would highly recommend this vet clinic for anyone looking for a new vet clinic.”

“Mulnix Animal Clinic has been my vet for years, I'm just now getting around to writing a well-deserved review! Mulnix always takes such great care of my animals. Most recently, my cat was diagnosed with severe dental disease at her checkup and Mulnix came up with a great treatment plan. They did quote me for surgery, which they recognized was a high price, understandably with their surgical resources in house. However, they understood the cost behind such a surgery and went out of their way to recommend another local surgery center that is typically able to cut their surgical costs in half. They were correct, I ended up getting my cat in with a different dental surgeon at an affordable price, all thanks to my vet. It's so easy for vet facilities to want services to stay in house, but Mulnix truly cares about animal health and wellbeing. To recommend services outside of their scope that are more affordable, in my opinion, makes an exeptional vet. I will continue to bring my animals to Mulnix as long as I live here!”

“I love this clinic. It is locally owned and operated with prices to match. It doesn’t have the shine of a newly minted hedge fund owned vet clinic, and I love that! I don’t want to be charged twice as much for a fancy sitting room! The vets are kind and knowledgeable and I genuinely feel like they are considering the big picture when we talk about solutions. I’ve driven pets all the way from Boulder to go specifically to this practice because I feel like I won’t get gouged.”

“Wyatt started seeing CSU Oncology in October 2024 when he needed bone radiation for osteosarcoma in his shoulder. That first day was overwhelming, but Dr. Oh made everything feel manageable. She was calm, clear, and gentle with him, and I knew he was in the right place.

After radiation, Wyatt began chemotherapy with Dr. Gutwillig and Dr. Beeson. They helped us understand every step and supported us through those early months. Every two months we’ve gone back for X‑rays, and the team has always guided us through the results with care and honesty. They’ve helped us navigate each change, each stable scan, and each decision about what to do next.

In May 2026, Wyatt returned for lung radiation with Dr. Oh, followed by two rounds of chemotherapy. As of August 2026, his tumors are static, and he is still himself, still happy, still Wyatt walking over a mile a morning.

The entire team is amazing, and especially Tracy Redfearn, his BFF. She knows him so well and makes him feel safe the moment he walks in. Watching him light up when he sees her has been one of the bright spots in this whole experience.

There is no better place to take your dog for oncology. I am grateful for Dr. Oh, Dr. Gutwillig, Dr. Beeson, Tracy, and everyone at CSU who has cared for Wyatt and helped us through this journey.”

“We have been going to Fossil Ridge Animal Hospital for about 2 years now and they are just amazing. The staff are all so friendly, and they actually care about your pets! The communication is top notch, they will often follow up after visits just to check in, and they are always so helpful! They are also very reasonably priced, and don’t try to sell you all kinds of stuff you don’t need. Dr. Jill and her team work so hard and I am so glad we found them!”

While Dr. Latell has primarily overseen JoJo’s care, I have had wonderful experiences with every veterinarian at the practice. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares—not just about their patients, but about the people who love them. As an anxious pet owner, I’ve never felt dismissed or rushed. They always take the time to answer my questions, explain my options, and make sure I feel comfortable with every decision.

The greatest compliment I can give them is this: I trust them enough to perform JoJo’s upcoming surgery. Handing over your best friend for surgery is one of the hardest things a pet owner can do, and I have complete confidence that she is in the best hands possible.

We've seen several vets over the years for regular and urgent care, all of whom have been kind, taken time to explain what is going on and any recommendations they have, and have always offered multiple levels/costs of care when needed to make sure everything works for us financially. The front desk staff are helpful, and it's amazing to be able to call or text for help and have the chance to get same day appointments with no extra fees, and drop in for vaccines. Sometimes there is a long wait/delays, but I'd prefer this if it means that the vet takes their time to ensure your pet is taken care of.”

“This morning I was at a busy intersection and saw a frightened kitten get hit. As it scrambled with just its front legs, it appeared that it’s back might have been broken. I grabbed the kitten from out of the intersection and put it in my car. Not knowing what to do with this frightened, injured kitty, I went to Aspen Grove since it was on my way back to work. The staff went above and beyond to help me get this kitten out from under my seat of my car. The care and diligence to their jobs is commendable. They took the kitten in for medical attention without question. What a great team Aspen Grove has !!”
