“Didn't see a ghost ☹️. Appreciated the lovely staff who humored me when asking to tell me their ghost stories! Great location, wonderful old building with lots of charm, comfortable bed, and a delightful bar that served delicious drinks.”
“Very nice place. Super convenient. You aren't camping in the woods, but the views are awesome.2018 update: Here again for the eight time. Love the place. It's under new ownership and Ryan is the caretaker. Reservations are more organized and things seem to be improving.2022 update: it's mostly tiny houses now. Camping is probably coming to an end soon.”

“Our ski club stayed here, 52 of us. Like being here, owners are excellent, and the price is good. They have sold their business and will move on at the end of March 2024.What happens next to this lodge is not known.”

“My family was visiting from out of town last week and they had a great experience staying at the Slumberyard. We were all blown away about the small details put into these cabins, the well kept grounds, nearby event space and box car bar. You can really tell the Freight takes pride in their space. I think they have added a lot of value to our little town and we are all very thankful!”
