You try to set appnts they struggle with the concept. You set appnts they don’t keep them. Receptionist greets you and then you go down a black hole. Struggle to open an accent for several hundred thousand. Went to 1st bank and treated great.

Not Co-Op branch! The entire reason a credit union is workable when compared to a bank is that they are supposed to share resources with each other like being able to help members of other credit unions. However, despite the stickers they have outside saying they're a co-op branch they are not. Go to almost any other credit union, this one doesn't care about their promises

I got a loan with them and even with excellent credit and financing around 30 % of the new vehicle. They wanted 6.74% !!! The agent told that was a mistake and should be at least 5.24% which is not the best but I agreed to stay at this rate. Then, I get a call that the rate is correct and in order to lower the rate I needed to refinance… forget about it. I will not bank here or recommend this to anyone.

I was planning to stop at this CU purely bc they happened to be positioned right along the route I'm driving to run an errand. I didn't care about the terrible reviews/rating. They were the most conveniently located CU, & I need to get into one asap to look for an RV loan. The decision's been made & I already made it GPS official. Though....I should probably call 1st just to make sure walk ins are accepted. And then it happened?I go to call the number provided on Maps & much to my dismay....its an 800 number leading straight into a phone tree. The moment I saw that number & heard that phone tree, my decision changed.I am only taking the time to write this review, so that at least someone is being made aware of the fact that people like myself are getting annoyed to the brink with this over Corporateizationing of this particular aspect of the business world. Dude....this is a local business. I should be able to call them up(LOCALLY) and ask a simple question - like, can I walk in today. In this last year, I've decided that this simple hoop, alone, is enough to push me into continuing my search for the business I'm looking for at any given moment. I am not going to go through your annoying a$$ phone tree prompts for God knows how long, just to ask a simple question. Plus in my experience, most of the time in these situations....you can't reach the local branch/store your looking to contact, anyways. So then it's just an incredibly frustrating 2/5/10 minutes all for nothing.We need to end this nonsense. I stopped shopping at Best Buy for the same reason. If I can't make a quick call to ask a real human a simple question that is specific to their location, I don't want to do business there. I'll go to the smaller guy who is in touch with their customers.

I would like to give 000 stars to this credit union and branch. They have the worst customer service!!! I have been a member for 30 years and they will still deny giving me access to deposits right away. It has actually caused checks to not clear that were coming thru and then they charged an nsf fee. My account has been in good standing for years with them but they treat you as if you just opened your accounts with them or as a criminal that is going to deposit fraudulent checks! I am going elsewhere as soon as I get everything routed out from this credit union Stay away, much better service elsewhere.. My daughter is at college in another state and I pay her tuition, she received a check for scholarship money for school that I pay for, she endorsed check properly over to me to deposit and they would not allow it without her being there. She will not be back until December.I had a photo of her ID, she has the same last name and same address. This put me in financial stress since tuition was due and I could not apply this money toward it. And they say that customer service is their priority. Look at all these terrible reviews, they do not care what situation they put their customers in.

Final Edit: Closed my accounts. Never did get that card. New credit union got me mine in 1 day for a $5 fee as opposed to a week and $45 to replace my credit card. To anyone reading this, this place simply isn't worth it.2nd Edit: After a second offer to cancel this card and send another, I just bit the bullet. I paid off the card. I'd rather deal with financial ruin than this company.EDIT: Ordered the replacement card on the 3rd. Shipped out on the 6th. It is the 29th. No card. At this point, the monetary emergency I needed this card for has passed. Customer service was as unhelpful as me not having the card itself. Their "responses" amounted to a "deal with it". I look forward to being free of this company.Original: When trying to replace my card in person, I was told to "pay $45 to expedite my credit card being shipped" or wait for it in the mail.So far, it's been ten days. No card. My new credit union issued a replacement the same day.I will be paying my credit off and using another CU, as should anyone with memory issues or veteran status.I'd add that I do not trust businesses that route individual branch locations to the same answering service. That, and it cost me $45 to expedite ship a refrigerated cake during the time it's taken me to not receive this card so I'm not sure how the metrics for their replacement card adds up.Thankfully, I've been able to refer my clients to other more suitable services and look forward to washing my hands of what feels like an attempt to grift my household despite 7 years with this CU.

My problem starts with not being able to talk directly to a belco branch. I was told on the phone I could cash savings bonds at my local branch. 45 minute drive later got to the branch they will not cash the savings bonds. Wanted to open up an account so that I can cash the savings bonds they told me I can't do it today come back in 2 days. No one offered to help or remedy the misinformation that was given to me on the phone.

The banking fees are too high here. I'd avoid this Credit Union. There are better options in the area.

I have used Bellco CU SW Branch for many years, Bellco provides excellent service. I have 2 checking accts, savings, 3 car loans, 2 credit cards and a Bellco home loan. I think they provide more of a personal touch over banks. I also bank at 1st Bank. Wife likes banks and I like Bellco. Les
