After an abrupt decline of our beloved 17 year old doggo, they humanely put him to rest without questioning our judgement or putting him through a myriad of tests that would cause further stress. My first visit here and all the staff from the front desk, to the vet tech and finally the vet itself were empathetic and caring. I fully trust them for all future pet needs.

The staff here is so compassionate and made us feel like we weren't just a number. They explained different options and didn't make us feel guilty for the route we went. We are so thankful for the care we received here.

Our dog got injured at the groomer, needed stitches next to his eye so the groomer sent him here before talking to us. This vet does not communicate and the result was a sleepless night filled with constantly changing pickup times. Our dog arrived at 8:30 pm. It took more than an hour to finish the consult and give us a plan. They said he would be done for pick up between 11:30 and midnight. 12:30 am comes around and nothing. We called and were told he was just being sedated and they would call around 2 am. 2:30 am came around and nothing. We were told it would be another two hours. Finally at 5:15 am we were able to pick him up. I understand emergencies come up and a few stitches may not be urgent, but they need to communicate better. If he was sedated at 12:30 it's just ridiculous that they kept him almost 5 more hours when everything went fine. I'm pretty sure they kept him longer because the groomer was paying and they wanted to run the bill up. The lady at the front desk when I picked him up was rude, didn't apologize and showed zero empathy for our dog or keeping us up all night.

We had to rush our cat to the ER earlier this week. From the first phone call to when we got to bring him home everyone was amazing! So kind and compassionate. We were able to visit him multiple times during his stay and they were awesome. They did a great job educating us on his condition and how to care for him after we came home. I can't say enough good things. I hope we never have need for an ER Vet again- but I know exactly where we'll go if we need help in the future.

The absolute BEST ER vet experience ever. I was a bit concerned because the receptionist was honestly rude. I believe her name was Gina. However, when my black lab and I were taken back to the exam room after he passed out from gagging, they were very sensitive to his needs and took such good care of him. For the first time in both Sidney, the vet tech as well as Dr. Brian Young it was the absolute best experience I've had in my 30 years of pet ownership. Since my lab is over 11, I truly hope not to have to come back here, but I will never ever bring another dog anywhere but here for emergency vet treatment. They were compassionate, sensitive to my feelings, as well as the stress of my dog and very quick to send records to my regular. Dr Young was also sensitive ama compassionate about pricing and what my needs were that I could afford. They knew I likely have a long road to treatment and worked with me every step of the way. THIS IS SO RARE. I cannot say enough positive things about this VCA location, Sidney the vet tech and Dr Brian Young. Absolute best care ever. We will never go anywhere else!

VCA staff has always been incredibly friendly, supportive, and educative every time my pups have had emergency incidents needing care. Very grateful for the heartwarming staff from the front desk to the back of house and the docs. Would highly recommend

sitting here at 1210am in morning, not other patients and there is 14 people on staff, it has taken the vets almost 3 hours to even agree to treat our female rottie for mastitis. they see she is in extreme pain and temp in raising as we speak, but won't treat until we agree on payment. Dr. Winborne, does not have the caring bedside manner to help out animals I severe pain. only wanted to upsell hospital stay and meds.

A wild bunny was injured on the street, so I brought him inside, put him in a box with a towel, water, and food, and contacted Greenwood Wildlife Rescue, an animal hospital, and finally a bunny rehabber, a wonderful woman named Kathy. Or Cathy. I sent her pictures and described the bunny's movements. She told me, after reviewing the pictures, that his back was broken and that he had to be euthanized. He wouldn't survive surgery. So I called this hospital, and Kymber was amazing. She told me to bring the bunny to them. I did, and she was very kind. There was no charge for the euthanasia, which was a surprise, and so very, very kind of them. And much appreciated. The bunny wasn't a beloved pet. We were not acquainted before today. So for them to mercifully help a wild bunny is just kindness.

Took my dog here to have his tooth examined by a dental veterinarian. The vet said that the tooth only needed to be filled. I leave my dog there and they put him under for the procedure. I pick him up and am told multiple times that the capped tooth is good to go. Not more than 72 hours later I look in his mouth and the cap came off! We call and the vet tells us in a very matter a fact way that the cap had a good chance of coming off and that there is a clear sealant over the chipped tootthat we can't see. My question was, why was non of that ever explained to us and the vet also say we could bring our dog back in for another coat, when asked if he would need to be put under she said no we can just use a mild sedative. So he didn't need to go under anesthesia to begin with?!?!? So I got charged over a grand for something that really didn't need to happen and my dogs tooth looks exactly the same.

One stop shop for everything! We already go here for vet, boarding and daycare and the new groomer just made this place perfect for EVERYTHING pet! We have a goldendoodle and that's not an easy breed to groom. We have to groom him often as well, so the cost do add up. This place is reasonably price and the best part is, you can drop the pup off for morning daycare and then do grooming in the afternoon! He looks fantastic! I couldn't be happier.

Worst place ever. I took my sick cat, when i got there they said she looks like shes better. Refuse to treat my cat unless i paid upfront $600 had me take my cat home how it was and today my cat passed ! They rather get money from you first than save the animals life ! Not to forget i drove 2hrs to even get my cat to then just for service to be refused unless i paid upfront ! Becareful with the 5star reviews sometimes they create fake accts to review the company !

My Weimaraner puppy swallowed a sock one week, then the next week another, and both times VCA did an excellent job in getting the socks out. They were prompt getting him in when I arrived, very reasonably priced for the service, the staff was friendly & definitely animal lovers. Glad it hasn't happened again, and we're a lot more careful about leaving articles of clothing around. They check all the boxes here!

5 stars for this wonderful clinic and staff! They once again provided the best emergency care for another one of our kitties. Thank you!
