I have been with Keybank for around 5 years, and they have been great. Casey and all the others are always friendly and helpful, and they often go above and beyond. In hundreds of visits there over several years, I cannot recall a single negative experience.

I do all my personal and business banking with them and have all my loans with them as well and they are great. Always incredibly helpful! The app is a little funky sometimes, but I get all I need done all the time!

We deeply regret opening a mortgage with KeyBank. Do not bank with them. We have been waiting more than four months for them to give us back $3,600. They have been extremely difficult to work with and are doing very little to work on returning us the money we are owed. Before our first mortgage payment, we were not told that KeyBank had set up automatic payment. We had already set one up ourselves. As a result, we were accidentally double-charged for our mortgage twice in August. It seems it would be fairly simple and straightforward to return the accidentally double payment. Not with KeyBank. It's November and there is no sign of our money. Our contacts at KeyBank have no sense of urgency in resolving this matter and take days to respond back to us. They claim they have mailed us checks but somehow they keep getting lost in the mail? It's very shady. Whenever we decide to refinance, we will NOT even consider working with KeyBank. In the meantime, I'm hoping by educating others of our terrible experience, they too will avoid KeyBank.

Hours are very inconvenient. I'm having difficulty finding the time to visit the branch so I can close all my accounts. I am closing my accounts because I tried to refinance my existing mortgage with Key, and I walked away ($500 poorer) after my refinance had not closed after 6 months. (The company I ended up refinancing with was able to complete the process in 4 weeks.)Edit: I contacted a Key representative per instructions in the response below. I was told to expect a response within 2-3 business days, and got no response. I went to close out my accounts but was told since my checking account was opened less than 6 months ago, they would charge me a $25 early close-out fee. Getting a divorce was easier.Edit 2: I did get a response that they will be issuing me a refund for the $500 fee, which I really appreciate.

Sad. The employees are nice, BUT the KeyBank people that answers the customer service line, 1-800-Key2You, is disappointing. I called the 1-800 number to let KeyBank know that I lost my job and will be missing payments, just a courtesy call. What made me upset was when the lady on the other line said, "Sorry, you can't make payments. Can you borrow from your family and friends to pay your loan? Can you get a loan from another bank?" I was like, "I just lost my job. You want me to create more debt?" She said, "Sorry, we can't help you with anything. Just make sure you make the payments." WTF?!?!!! Not staying with KeyBank ANYMORE.

I use many banks and Key Bank is by far the best big bank out there. Great service, great products.

With the negative reviews I wanted to put in a good word for this branch. They have no control over the rules and regulations that Key imposes on it's customers. But what they can do, is help you navigate and work with you to avoid fees and issues that come up. The people that work in there get to know you by name and it really is like a small community bank. Nathan does a great job in working with you to help solve the problems that come with fee laden banking options. He is always willing to help and very personable as well. I recommend giving them a chance if you are looking for a bank in the Ken Caryl area!

I've been with Key Bank, this branch specifically for 6 years. The branch Manager Jean, doesn't seem to follow through after any discussions I've had with her regarding my account. She doesn't return phone calls. Nor responds to emails. There's a complete lack of credibility, as they often don't have answers, nor are they educated enough to adequately help ALL customers that walk through the door. I'd always get told “let me look into thatâ€, and then I'd never hear from the staff again. I'm closing the 3 accounts I have with Key, all because of the incompetence that has come from Jean Nelson and her branch over the passed several years.

My banking experience with the Ken Caryl Branch of Key Bank has been the best I have ever had. Everyone that I have come into contact with have been there to help, not just do their job, but really have wanted to help. Starting my new business, struggling through the cashflow woes of the first year, has been greatly supported by their willingness to understand and assist as much as they can. Many thanks to Jean, Gerard, Kayla, Jenn and the rest of the crew there!

This was by far the worst banking experience. Sorry, It is a long story. When we moved to Colorado we asked a few people to see where we should open our business account. An associate had suggested Keybank. We liked the fact that you could open an account online on their website. So, being that they were not around the corner we opened our account online. We don't do transactions everyday so we figured no big deal. What a big mistake. Everything started out smoothly. They sent me the packet. I filled out all the information. Sent it in with our opening deposit. We got a welcome packet in the mail and also got a call from the Littleton branch welcoming us. The lady told us if we needed anything to call. That was nice. She ordered our checks and got them in the mail. Then a couple of weeks later, we were going on a trip. So, I logged in to make sure my mail in deposit got there. I was shocked that my account had a $0 balance. First thought was OMG someone withdrew all our money. So, the next day on the way to the airport I called the customer service line. Apparently they said that I didn't submit some paperwork. Hmmmm. I sent in the whole packet, with everything they requested. Well they made me call the IRS to get a verification letter for our Federal ID number (never had to do that before). They had my Federal ID number, they just needed a letter from the IRS saying that it was my Federal ID number. OK? I told her "They called me to welcome me and sent me a letter. Couldn't they have done that to let me know that there was paperwork missing?" Well, she had no answer other than they would give me a week to get the paperwork in. Ok, fine, maybe a misunderstanding. I get the cashiers checks in the mail. Wait for them to reinstate my account. Go and deposit the checks. (Even though my husband said to bank elsewhere. I figured give them another chance. Why?! Why?!) Anyway, I get a call saying that they have to put a 9 day hold on the cashiers checks. It is their cashiers checks!!! I tell him that. He said because it doesn't look like their normal checks they have to put a 9 day hold on it! Now I'm very upset. So, I wait until the funds clear. I open a business account at US Bank (No problems, BTW). I go to close my Keybank account and they are charging me a fee because I am closing my account within 6 months. Whatever, I don't want to wait another day. Not a good experience.
