Mathnasium - Both Clay and Dan have had a positive impact in our sons math learning program. We have moved from playing catch up to actively participating in class. The instructors use a variety of techniques to teach the curriculum, finding the one that works best for your child and developing it. This set of learning techniques is so helpful and progressive. We would spend quite a bit of time trying to learn the method the current grade was using to teach, and at times this was cumbersome and ineffective. Now we watch the Mathnasium team present, identify, and develop. As a parent this is so very helpful, but the real benefit is when our son is no longer intimidated by math class and can function with the rest of the students. The instructors and the environment are very welcoming at Ken Caryl. The general feel and atmosphere of the program makes learning math much less of a stressful event. This style makes going to tutor sessions easy on my son and us as parents. Thanks Mathnasium, and thank you Clay and Den.

Mathnasium of Ken Caryl helped me immensely. In Fall semester 2022, I was extremely bad at math. At 17, I could not factor polynomials, solve absolute value equations, or do basic operations with exponents. My math level was at or below algebra I, while all my friends already flew through Calc III with straight As. With over a decade of nonstop struggle in math, I lost most if not all faith in myself. I recall looking in the window at Mathnasium the first day, seeing a poster of a student jumping next to a big red A, thinking to myself that I would probably die before getting a solid B in a math class, let alone an A. Nonetheless, I gave it an honest try. After being set up with a diagnostic, the tutors knew exactly where my skill level was and immediately had a foolproof plan to get me back on track (I had to go back and do some elementary and middle school level math too!). Either way, there was no judgement, only encouragement and solid direction. Some of the tutors were around my age, which made it very embarrassing initially to receive such low level instruction from them. However, they made it a very open, patient, and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Their practices, teachings, and tricks skyrocketed my skills in math. I felt like I was actually beginning to understand math, made connections like never before, and felt for the first time a legitimate foundation below my feet. After many worksheets, practices, and hours spent in the Fall semester 2022, the Spring semester 2023 arrives, and I start College Algebra and Trig, the first algebra based math class I've taken in over a year. Despite this I got a 100% on my first exam in Algebra, and 90%s on my first Trig quizzes, and it kept coming. I got straight As in math for the first time in my whole life, and finished the semester with high As in both Algebra and Trig (got a 104% on one of my trig exams because I got all the questions right and an extra credit challenge problem). Come Summer 2023 and Calc I starts. We had less than half the time and the same amount of content. I recall my professor saying many of us would struggle, and had the drop date written large on the board every day so people would be reminded in case the class threatened their GPA. By the end of the Summer, I ranked 1 in the class and left with an A. As of now, Fall 2023, I have an A in Calc II. The amount of freedom Mathnasium gave me in math was and still is extremely empowering. I find lots of joy in math where only dread was before. I amaze myself constantly with my skills. I feel the dedication and determination of my mentors at Mathnasium to this day reflected in the reliability of my math skills. The freedom I feel now in math is intoxicating, and I can feel the dedication, hard work, and patience my Mathnasium mentors put in for me to this day.

I started at Mathnasium my sophomore year after COVID had ended. I was online for the whole year and basically learned nothing. Mathnasium helped me relearn the concepts I missed and exceed past it. Great staff, environment, and establishment.

I cannot recommend this center enough.. what started with tears, frustration and struggles with math has both my kids feeling capable and proud of their abilities. The tutors are so great. Kind and helpful. My kids stay caught up with their homework and there's no crying. Have I mentioned the no crying thing? Because I don't think it can be overstated how wonderful that is. They have also gained problem solving skills that have helped them find new math concepts less intimidating and helped with other school subjects.

My son has gone there for about 6 months now, they make it a relaxed and excellent experience. Fear of math is gone and his grades are fantastic! Could not give a better review!

Our 3rd grade son was struggling in Math. He earned just a 3% on his standardized test, couldn't subtract or do division and his teacher never notified us of any issues. This made math very intimidating and unpleasant for him. Since he's been at Mathnasium Ken Caryl he no longer dreads math, can do division and is finally grasping concepts. Before mathnasium my wife and I were very worried for him but now we both have a much better feeling and look forward to watching him grow more confident in math as he is finally grasping it.

Mathnasium @ Ken Caryl was a life saver during the pandemic! Our daughter was falling behind during remote learning with loads of math homework being assigned daily. She was trying to teach herself with very little hep from her teacher. She was loosing confidence. We went to Mathnasium and after the initial meeting we could see the relief on her face. Each time she went we could see the confidence growing. They have been awesome to work with and communicate regularly with us on her progress. Highly recommend them!

Nate is able to turn the light on for our daughter when it comes to math. She has always excelled at math. So when she struggled it was new for us. Nate was able to help her put the pieces together and off she went. Highly recommend. We found this to be a good value.

If I could give them more stars I would. We signed our Niece up for math lessons at this location. She loved it and we were very pleased. All the people working there to support kids that need math assistance are so friendly and very helpful. Now math is our nieces favorite subject in school and is doing really well. I highly recommend this location and use of Mathnasium's services!!
