As someone who works nights and is in the area between 10pm and 1050pm. It is very unfortunate that the staff onsite take it upon themselves to close 10 minutes early when there are no other options in the area to grab a quick bite to eat or groceries. Hope this can be changed. Update: as I wrote this review 2 others arrived and were also surprised to see the location was closed 10 minutes early

I've lived in this area 3 years. January after year 1, I passed by the store manager who was talking with another manager about how much money they've made and how awesome their lives are. All surrounding community makes this place successful out of their necessity... no intellect or insightful business practice is here. This place is terrible and I've never forgotten that passing management conversation since I haven't been able to get simple high demand items from the shelf. Watch your individual item sell rates and preemptively order to compensate. It's not hard to keep shelves stocked (pending shipping constraints, of course), but there are always so many items... just gone. Today I write this review in reflection of all previous experiences, but the straw is that they don't have HAND WARMERS in the ski capitol of the country. This place just 360 sucks.Safeway Corp. Find yourself new management. These guys are on cruise control, counting their tips in front of their customers. The store manager I am referencing was here in late 2020. If he is gone, your replacement is equally terrible.

I dropped my caramel apple in the self checkout and the guy let me grab another one.EDIT: When are they going to start keeping this store open on holidays? Hate feeling like Highlands Ranch is our only option sometimes out here.

Skimpy selection and nothing is ever in stock. I wish you were any other grocery store.

Good for my super fast needs being it's the only store in 20 mins from my new house. Anything here costs 10 times more than king Soopers. If you have the option just go over to kings you'll save money!

Too expensive. Fruits are usually not that good. They do have good meat prices.

Safeway at Roxborough Park. Horrible service from one person that appeared to be a manager of some type. He refused to give the digital coupon. We didn’t have any other way to receive the discounted price, so this appears to be a rip-off to me. We already get our groceries at other locations because of the many complaints about this Roxborough Park Safeway, but we still use it for minor items, like a convenience store. This latest issue reinforces our commitment to not shop here for most of our groceries. Many other grocery stores don’t require a smart phone to get the discounts, and will give the discount at the register.

Some employees are great help when needed. Unfortunately at least one person (that appears to be a manager) is not helpful and refuses to give digital coupons if you don't have your phone with you. Better grocery stores are not that far away.

I have been using Safeway's online ordering for over a year now and have been very pleased with it.This Safeway is a little smaller and is sometimes out of an item or two but they do a decent job of substituting.Overall the ordering has been easy, they have always been ready for pick up on time, and the people involved have been friendly and courteous.Since I am disabled this has become an essential part of my life and I enjoy the process of ordering this way.

I never have a good experience here. The signs are ALWAYS mislabeled for what aisle products are located, the selection is terrible (other than kombucha they do have an amazing selection of kombucha) and some of the staff is unfriendly.I hope we get a competitor close by soon, this place sucks.

Worst Safeway I've been to. This weekend I visited the store and experienced the most unethical behavior by management. I used the self checkout- as I was scanning my groceries the associate over the checkout came up and reached over to the payment pad, pressed some buttons and walked off. I felt it was odd so on the way out I asked what he was doing. He stated that he was filling out my customer survey because their ratings are really low so management instructed him to do this on all customers checking out. This is so unethical in so many ways. I am disgusted that management would falsify records like this. I will be contacting corporate and will NEVER step foot in this store again for any reason.**Previous review** We live in Roxborough but still choose to drive to Highlands Ranch King Soopers. Their produce department is always depleted. Other items are not stocked. Disappointing.

As always, lighting is dim, some open spots on the shelves. Produce is good tho.

I love the convenience of the location, and I like a lot of the staff I've met, but as others have said, there are lots of stocking issues with this store...they need a new inventory manager for sure. Sometimes when I go there, entire sections of products are out (for example, ALL the Horizon brand milk one time, or ALL the yellow onions). There will be a lot of stock of items that no one wants to buy, then popular items run out after just a day or two. I have also experienced bringing home meat that still had 1 or 2 days left before the sell-by date, only to open it up and have it smell sour and have to throw it away. Some of the manager's special meat is straight up grey and still out for sale!I understand that finding good and plentiful staff is challenging right now, but I hope it's something this store can work on--especislly since the new apartments across the street are going to double the influx of customers and make their stocking issues even worse.

I feel fortunate that we have a grocery within a couple miles of our house; but between the bad vegetables, getting expired food, and (most recently) being treated badly by store staff, I will shop here as minimally as possible. Today I stopped in to get a couple of things for a cookout and the gentleman working the register was crass. Honestly, at this point, I will drive an extra 10 minutes to go to King Soopers to get better food and not be treated badly.
