Moved out more than 6 months ago and still haven’t received pro-rated rent for the month i moved out. The leasing office and ownership company have had abysmal communication and I am now have to pursue them in small claims court. So much incorrect information, timelines, and expectations have been given. Per lease I was guaranteed this refund within 60 days of move out. 165+ days ago. This apartment went through a change in ownership and the new company STYL is fully to blame for this negligence
Edit: after forwarding them a strongly worded letter through verified mail I received my refund. Crazy it took threatening small claims court to kick them into gear. Based on the reviews, I wasn’t alone in this situation so good luck to anyone is the same position.

Great place to live location wise. Completely horrible in every other regard. Oh yeah, also $70 fee to pay rent. Do not move here

I’ve lived at The Retreat at Park Meadows for the past 15 months. The apartments themselves are very nice, and the maintenance team is fast and professional. Unfortunately, the office staff is a completely different story. (Except David. He is responsive, kind, and deserves a raise).
Early on, I reported a serious wasp problem coming from a bush right outside my dining room window — they were getting in through my balcony door. My dog was stung, and my daughter (who’s allergic) hasn’t been able to visit safely. When the assistant manager, Dayna, came by with another staff member (Tamara) to inspect, my Ring camera caught her saying I was “full of s***” as they approached my front door. I was right behind them and clearly heard it, but when I confronted her, she tried to lie and claim it wasn’t about me. The second employee actually apologized and admitted she had AirPods in, so there was no conversation happening — it was just an unprofessional comment caught on video.
During that visit, I also explained how much I loved the bush — not only was it home to the wasps, but it gave me privacy as a woman living alone on the ground floor. Instead of addressing the pest issue properly, the office retaliated by removing the entire bush! She claimed other trees were being removed in the area, but mine was the only one cut down. I have photos proving that. Pest control didn’t even find the nest — I found it myself, just around the side of the building: a large 8-inch wasp nest.
Now, with only two days left before my lease ends, I still haven’t received anything official about move-out. No final statement, no balance due, and no written confirmation — even though I gave proper 60-day notice-which I had to document the heck out of since they did not have rental options until four weeks before my lease was up. I had to escalate to the regional manager just to try and get basic communication, and I’m still waiting. On top of that, a credit I had in my resident portal has disappeared without explanation.
This isn’t an isolated issue — I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the same kind of behavior from the front office. And in just my time here, I’ve seen at least three different office managers come and go.
****** Also they do not keep the halls clean even when you make complaints about it. People smoke everywhere and they don’t care. I asked them if they could please have somebody clean the hall up four months ago and this is how they still look. It’s from leaking trash which is a health concern.
I’m sure they will respond with a generic comment with “call us for issues” etc. It’s because they really DONT care about the place.

I can’t explain how wonderful the staff is in this place. I have been searching for a new place for me and my family to move in. I’ve had many negative experiences with other communities around. I have decided to give a call to the office and find out more about the place all of my questions were immediately answered, the staff and maintenance staff are very kind and nice. I’m in love with the community, after having a bad experience with my previous place, I’m very sure this is the place for us. Speaking of the development the place is huge, there is so much to do out there, it’s a very familiar environment and seems very safe for kids since the place is fenced. It feels like a park with very nice walking paths, you see people around and they are very friendly. David and Tamara made sure I was very comfortable and they kindly answered all of my questions they also showed me the model apartment and how the furniture fit in, so I could have an idea. From everything I saw so for the outstanding costumer service made my day! My friend was so happy from our visit and joyful. This is definitely my home!

I moved in a month ago and so far this place has been amazing. The front staff is very kind and attentive. Maintenance requests get handled fairly quickly. The grounds are very spacious and open which I really enjoy. Everything is well kept. My apartment is spacious and has tons of storage. The upstairs neighbors are a little noisy but other than that I have no complaints.

Very disappointing experience.
My partner and I tried to apply for an apartment here, we had some technical issues completing the online application so we tried to call, email and even went into the office to try and resolve the issue however, the staff we encountered weren’t terribly helpful and seemed extremely nonchalant about the problem we were having and extremely unconcerned about the whole thing and said they would get back to us (never did). In the end we’ve gone with another property, I really can’t recommend this place to live in if that’s the way that they treat potential residents.

I found the apartments to be very spacious with a nice layout. We got the third floor that has vaulted ceilings. The facilities are nice, has a basketball court, nice tennis court and the pool is really nice. It's well maintained and never had any maintenance issues. Neighbors are great and mostly young couples/families or professionals working in the lone tree area. There's a massive Indian community here. You can rent a garage for 50 bucks a month but would be lucky if it's located near your building. Overall was a great stay and would recommend people to live here. It's right off the I-25 so very accessible location.

I have to change my rating from 5 to 1 star( would go with half or no star if Google let me), based on my recent experience with the management. The front office staff is extremely rude. They do not respond to requests even after multiple follow ups. They even shut the door in my face, stating they are short on staff and can’t take my request at the moment. More often than not they seem to be short on staff.

I had a very disappointing experience living in this apartment complex for about 2.5 years. The leasing office staff were consistently rude, unresponsive, and unprofessional. They showed a complete lack of concern for residents and made it incredibly difficult to resolve even the simplest issues.
Whenever I reached out via email, I was told I’d receive a response in atleast 2–3 business days—but in reality, I rarely got a reply, even after multiple follow-ups.
One of the most frustrating incidents was during my apartment transfer. I had clearly requested to keep the same garage, and this was confirmed in the lease agreement. However, while I was away on vacation, the leasing office unlawfully broke into my garage. When I confronted them about it, they were rude and dismissive—this just shows their complete carelessness.
Even after I moved out and relocated to another state, the problems continued. I had to go through an unnecessary struggle just to receive my security deposit. My calls were either ignored or abruptly disconnected after I stated my name. Eventually, I had to ask a friend to visit the office in person just to retrieve the check.
In summary, my time here was filled with stress and poor treatment. They are apathetic towards your issues. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere if you value professionalism, responsiveness, and peace of mind in your living situation.

I have experienced consistently poor behavior and attitude from the front office lady. She always come across as arrogant and dismissive, which makes it difficult to communicate effectively. Additionally, she never listens to residents' concerns or questions, leaving us feeling ignored and undervalued. Such behavior hampers the overall experience and reflects poorly on the management. I hope steps are taken to improve professionalism, attitude, and responsiveness of the front office team.

I have been living at park meadows for awhile now and I love it here that staff is so caring and supportive . Tamara is the best she works in the office I don’t plan on moving just upgrading 💕💞

I have had only great experiences with the Maintenance team here at the retreat so wanted to give them a shout out (Jared, Nick, Oliver & Jack). The quality of their work is outstanding and consistently exceeds expectations and are very nice while providing assistance.
