"While the vet did a really good job with our dog I did not appreciate the attitude the staff working the front desk and answering the phones gave me when I called in to ask why they hadn't been sending our dog's records to his real vet. We only use these guys in emergencies. I know we have repeatedly asked them to share all records with the vet and each time I have to call and then I get a lecture on how they only send stuff when we ask....well damn it we have asked repeatedly. Maybe you should listen more and talk less?"

"Cornered my dog in the back with 5 people, when beforehand I had asked his exam and shots be done in the room with me, then were surprised when a cornered animal growled and snapped. They then proceeded to charge me an extra $50 because they claimed my dog was viscous, however this dog comes to work with me everyday with children all around him with no incident. Literally a 3 year old has a better understanding of animal behavior. I wouldn't recommend this pet hospital to anyone."

"My mother just picked up her dog after dropping him off this morning for a teeth cleaning. We just got the dog and bill back and they gave him 4 vaccinations! Vaccinations that she did not request or authorize! She brought him in for a teeth cleaning and they pumped her dog full of chemicals. I am absolutely horrified with this experience! Never again!"

"zero stars... Adopted a 6 month old kitten from Petsmart in October 2016. They did a wellness exam on him and made sure he had all of his shots and was healthy, which went well and he got a clean bill of health. Now he is 2 years old and started acting sick (tired, not his normal self, lost a little bit of weight) and I decided to try a different vet (as Banfield vet treated my very old male cat poorly and left him in a cage in the back for 5 hours before telling me they couldn't treat him-but thats another story). I took my 2 year old guy to the Humane Society well pet clinic (wonderful staff and doctors) and she found a level 4 heart murmur- something she told me should have been diagnosed long ago. I'm am saddened that my cat has been dealing with this since birth and I've had no idea. Now we are facing huge testing/treatment(if there is any) to try and figure this all out. Just haven't had the best experience at Banfield and their doctors. The vet techs/and people sitting at the front are wonderful people and have always been very helpful and genuinely seem to care. The doctors however aren't my favorite."
