“I rarely take to the internet to leave reviews, but my recent experience compels me to share my story and extend my deepest gratitude to Hope for Longmont and, more specifically, to an extraordinary individual named Ed Mercer. There are moments in life where the kindness of a stranger makes all the difference, and for me, Edwin Mercer was that person. Amidst a frightening domestic violence situation, I found myself in desperate need of refuge and support. That's when Ed stepped in, as a beacon of compassion and humanity.Ed took the time to understand my predicament, offering me solace and safety when I needed it the most. He made sure that I had something to eat, calming my nerves and providing a sense of normalcy in a world that had suddenly turned upside down. His actions were nothing less than heroic. But it wasn't just the material support that made a difference; it was the empathetic ear and the brief yet impactful conversation that revealed to me that Ed stays at Hope for Longmont. When he shared this experience, it fostered a unique connection and made me feel less alone. It was clear that Ed truly cared about my well-being and went above and beyond to ensure that I would make it to safely, where I could receive additional support and resources to help me through this challenging time.Ed Mercer's kindness has been a turning point for me, and I am forever thankful for his intervention. Hope for Longmont is more than a shelter; it's a community of caring individuals like Ed who are dedicated to lifting others up in their darkest moments. I am living proof of the impact that such an organization can have on a person's life, and I hope my story encourages others to support this incredible organization and its mission. The church should be proud of this young man.Thank you, Ed, from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness has changed my life.”

“After searching for years, we found our church home about six years ago. We love this small welcoming congregation. We attend the traditional 8:30 service most Sundays. It has the formal liturgy we love, with thoughtful message, good natured humor, and sound theology.”
