“The Eden Valley Country Store has a lot of organic products, natural supplements, vegan and vegetarian meat substitute options, and dry herbs, grains, and legumes. It's like a tiny Trader Joe's in the country. You'll find only plant-based products here, as well as books on health and wellness with a Christian spin.

For those who are fans of Barbara O'Neill, the store has copies of her latest books, as well as the renown Anna's Wild Yam Cream. There are options to order online, or come in person.

Also, the farm has recently opened added fresh produce to the lineup of purchasable items at the Country Store, rather than opening the farm stand near the main entrance. The store is open to the public.

I've been to the store, and Kara is a friendly store manager. The store is small, in my opinion, but it's maintained well, especially since they've installed the new integrated electronic point of sale system. It really speeds up checkout.

One product I see there that I rarely see is Carob Almonds/Peanuts/Raisins (okay, that's 3 products). Though they can't truly replace chocolate, for those whose health requirements call for avoiding caffeine, these are a Godsend. They have Loma Linda Big Franks, for those who love hotdogs, and lots of cookbooks.

The prices are kind of high, relative to what I feel comfortable purchasing, considering I'm from a place where things were much cheaper, but these prices are reasonable for Colorado. I've seen people come through with a cart, and leave with a carload of goods, they must be doing something right.

My advice? Come check it out for yourself. Not everything in the store is listed on the website, it's best to see it in person and get a feel for the place, and get some fresh produce while you're at it. I had a strawberry from the farm the other day, and now I know what everyone at the farmers markets have been raving about. It's not just the flavor, but the minerals and utter health of the produce that makes the difference.

Challenge: Go to Walmart, buy strawberries, then go to the Country Store, buy strawberries (while they're in season). Write a review of your own. Taste the difference. That's all I can say. WOW!

UPDATE: The Eden Valley Country Store has gone through some remodeling recently, now there's a place for fresh vegetables, the bins for scooping bulk foods have disappeared, as well as the bottles of herbs.

Now, if you want an herb or spice specially packed, you can request it from the register and they'll pack a special order for you by weight. It seems they have a library of all kinds of medicinal herbs.

Loveland is certainly blessed to have such a resource in it's backyard. Just note, you won't find any opioids there, incase you're wondering.

I haven't really tried the online experience yet, but I do know they've been trying to improve it lately. It seems pretty convenient to be able to get specially made teas, herbs, and so on online, while supporting local businesses. Two thumbs up!”
