“Steve is awesome and was so helpful. He didn’t pressure me at all to get the jeep for longer than I needed and even offered a different company if his rental structure didn’t fit with my plans.i was happy to give him the business for being so responsive and such a joy to work with. That alone made a world of difference. Also didn’t realize I’d love the lime green so much”

“Both the guy that checked is in, and the guy that checked us out, were amazing. Both so helpful and took care of the small issues very well. Amazing customer service. Best rental experience ever, except the fact that we didn’t get the jeep we had reserved.”

“Autumn was very nice and awesome! She helped me when my car was in the shop getting repairs. They worked with my insurance and did a good job handling everything. I will say the car was a little messed up when I got it but it worked the whole time I had it.”

“Great experience with National. Communication was excellent, the car was ready and fully fueled, and the entire process was easy and convenient. The staff was especially friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would definitely rent from National again.”

“Fantastic customer service! My flight had been cancelled and I had to totally change airlines, causing me to arrive later. So, I figured I had to reserve with a different rental company since the hours said they'd be closed. But to my surprise Libby calls while I'm traveling - catching me off guard and confused at first since I don't ever expect follow-up like this. She asks if my flight had changed since she saw the cancellation of my earlier flight. Note I'd never contacted them about this - very proactive! So I confirm with Libby, she stays later just for me (something like 5 hours after my original reservation and about that many after they technically are closed, through several flight delays - and I confirmed I was the only one she was waiting for), and on top of that I get a vehicle better than what I had originally reserved. Just totally unexpected and above and beyond - this branch is doing it right. And the other place I reserved for the later time? Never heard from them. If you're flying into Montrose Airport, book here and you'll be taken care of!”

“We picked up our vehicle late on Sunday, August. 16, 2026 and although there was a line, the team member was efficient, friendly and professional. When we returned the vehicle on Friday, Aug. 21 - it was before they were supposed to be open. However, a team member saw me - opened the computer and was more that willing to quickly get me checked back in. Thanks for the Professionalism at this location.”

“Our flight arrived well after the posted operating hours and Olivia was still there! She saw that there was a line at the other car rental desk and she went out of her way to stay late just incase anyone else needed help. Well, we were the ones who needed help! Our car rental was not until the next day because we knew we would be arriving after operating hours 10:00pm) She was about to lock up for the night and she saw me standing around the Thrifty desk. She asked me if I needed help and was able to get us our rental car a whole day early! Because she stayed late, my wife and I were able to get to our AirBnb without needing a Lyft ride. (Btw there is only one Lyft driver in the whole area).”

“I booked a car and showed up to pick it up and they did not have the car I requested. However I got to work with Sindy who was manning the desk and she was amazing 👏 she found me a replacement vehicle that I was happy with and went above and beyond to make it happen, did I have to pay more, yes. But after reading the other comments I feel its important to mention that nicer things cost more money, and I was more than happy to pay because I will say it again Sindy was AMAZING. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I will be coming back for all my rental needs.”

“Landon makes this place great. He was very courteous, and friendly, they were training a new person but that did not in any way slow down the process. Great new, well optioned car with only a couple thousand miles on it was a huge plus. The only reason for this place getting 4 stars is the pick up/ drop off process. It’s a regional airport so still only taking off one star but to be a Presidents Circle Member and have to wonder a lot to find your car is definitely an area of improvement. They will tell you the stall number but there is not stall map so it’s still a hike and search. Also the vehicle was pretty dirty on the outside, I could understand in the winter with weather and road treatments but Montrose has a car wash about every block so not really an excuse for that one. I’ll say it again, hopefully Landon gets a promotion because that kid really makes this location.”

“I’ve rented from this location 8 times in the past year. They have been professional, courteous and efficient every time. I forgot something in the vehicle and they held it for me to pick up. I can complement Libby and Cindy by name as two staff members who have made renting from this location easy and convenient.”
