About Super 8 by Wyndham Montrose
Super 8 by Wyndham Montrose is a reasonably priced and clean motel in a good location on the east side of downtown, serving as a nice base for exploring the area. Many guests found it to be a phenomenal value, with clean rooms, good beds, and friendly, courteous, and accommodating front desk staff. Some appreciated cute attention to detail and the ability to sit outside at the back. However, the hotel is noted as needing refreshing, with dated and stained furniture in some rooms and no seats besides the bed in others. Several guests reported issues with smells, including a strong scent of incense in the office and a very sterile or unpleasant odor in some rooms, with one noting throat irritation from a cleaning agent. The stairway was found dirty by one reviewer. The complimentary breakfast is very basic and quite limited, often with items like the juice machine out of order or missing options like boiled eggs. While some found it okay with good bread choices, others were disappointed.
There is no elevator. The fridge had stains in it and so did the microwave. The bed sheets had stains and the sheets were also dirty. The charging stations didn’t work in the room. Don’t stay here if you have a lot of luggage because there is no elevator which makes it hard to carry luggage.

Sincerely one of the cleanest Super 8s I've ever been to. Great front desk staff, very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend. Phenomenal value!
