Stay away from room 106. Right across from ice maker on both floors. Walls and floor are paper thin. Will. Keep you up all night! Poor value.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean considering the aged decor. For the price though, I expected a little nicer updated carpet that doesn’t feel so old and dirty. The beds are fair at best, and the pillows are little square lumps that are about the size of a couch throw pillow. Not sure who thought they would a good hotel pillow purchase? The breakfast had no protein other than hard boiled eggs. Lastly, the hallway lighting is horrible and my wife even commented that if she was alone it would be very creepy. I feel it could some upgrades and got charged 2x what it was worth.

Would give 10 stars if I could! The staff was super kind and helpful. I had booked through Priceline, which didn’t relay that I had a pet (no fault of the hotel’s). The staff took the time to fix the issue; they were super kind and understanding. The room I got was big, very clean, and had a mini fridge and a microwave. I didn’t catch breakfast, so I don’t know what food they offer, but I do know there are at least 3 grocery stores less than 10 minutes from the hotel. I opted for City Market, which was one of the largest City Markets I’ve been to, and got food there. The bed was soft and comfy. The AC worked great. The shower was great, had good pressure, and was able to get and stay hot. Overall, very impressed with the hotel and staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Pretty nice rooms, a little rough around the edges, but the bed was good, plenty of room, couldn't hear my neighbors, and the shades blocked all light. I will definitely stay here again.

Rooms are very clean (at least mine is lol, don’t know about the others). However if you want to be treated rudely by the receptionist then here’s the perfect place. Checked in earlier and the receptionist sitting in the chair gave me quite the nasty attitude. Learn some customer service please. Blank stares, 0 greetings and smiles, and nasty comments really shows your lack of c.s.

I have stayed in Super 8 hotels in the past and I have it's always been a good experience. This was the exception. The room seemed clean but it was hard to tell with the dim lighting. I think they use 15 Watt bulbs everywhere. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work.
Pet friendly does not mean you will have a place to take your dog out to do his business. The small area to the side of the hotel was graveled with picnic tables and a grill. Is that were you were to take them?
Breakfast was a joke. Hard boiled eggs the 1st day, no eggs the second day, No bacon, sausage or anything with some protein. Waffles and toast.
Most of these things were just annoyances but then came the last straw. We had ANTS in the room! They were all over the dogs food and water bowls. We checked out.
The one good thing about this place were the reasonably comfortable mattresses. They seemed to slide off the platforms but they were OK. The only other good thing I can say is, the gentleman who checked us in was extremely nice.
Wouldn't stay here again at any price. It reflects poorly on Wyndham and Super 8 both.

READ IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR PETS OR FREE BREAKFAST. Just a heads up if you're booking hotels for free breakfast, this place does not have a good breakfast. They have mostly sugary carbs like a waffle maker, store bought donuts and pastries, cereal, white bread, and then a thing of oranges, one kind of yogurt, and sometimes boiled eggs. It's very minimal and as I said, mostly sugary carbs, and no protein at all, and the breakfast space is super cramped and small. If you have a pet with you, call in advance to make sure they can accommodate because even if you book a pet room online, it doesn't mean you will get a pet room or that they will have one for you. We were almost not able to stay here. We thought we booked a king size pet room online, and they do not have king beds for pets. We could have stayed at another hotel that allowed dogs for a similar price and gotten a king bed and most likely a better breakfast. Pet rooms are on ground level and they are only double queen beds and charge $10 a night per pet. This was not mentioned when we booked, you have to look through all the policies to find this information. The pet relief area is rocky and you need to bring your own pet waste bags. When we checked in we were not given any instructions or information for wifi, etc, I had to walk back up and ask questions to get more information that is normally given when you check into hotels/motels. The location itself is good, near everything you need and near a lot of great locations to visit, and the rooms are clean.

It is a Super 8 so you get what you pay for. The beds were good. The shower was not broken but not in good condition. We were going this route because Colorado Department of Transportation had opened the bridge between Montrose and Gunnison but the man at the counter didn't know any of the details of when I needed to go in order to take advantage of the opening. The bridge was open 4 hours a day. This is kind of a big deal. A hotel should be able to tell their guests when you would need to be at the bridge to be able to cross it. When we went for dinner the waitress knew and told us because she had crossed the bridge a few days earlier.

bad experience with this place: bathroom had mold and sink drained very slowly; blankets were old and worn; carpet was nasty; reserved king room and not provided with that; hallways very dark; website says the hotel is pet friendly but they staff tried to weasel on this and gave us a "pet friendly" room at the end of the hotel where it was dark and very worn out; very overpriced for what you get...should cost @ $79 for quality of place
Rooms: did not see other rooms so cant comment on them
Noteworthy details: old run down hotel

Very close to black canyons and Ouray! Close to restaurants. It’s on the outskirts of Town.

We stayed here one night passing through the area. The Motel is close to restaurants. We found the room to be okay but dated. The hallway was dark. Note that the Motel does not have an elevator. The ice and vending machines are only on the main level. We found the walls to be quite thin and could hear the people and tv from the next room over quite clearly. The breakfast options provided are minimal.
