“Five stars basically for the owners alone who are just the sweetest, friendliest people you can imagine! I spent almost an hour there chatting with them and looking through the husband's pretty fantastic photography prints, which he genuinely seemed to love sharing with me even though I made it pretty clear that I was very unlikely to buy any of them at price point they sell them at. (The asking price was perfectly fair given the quality of the shots and the effort that went into acquiring them, but I have to be pretty blown away to pay that kind of premium for photography, so I'm definitely not the ideal customer for that market.) In the end, I did buy a small, but very cute advent calendar, mostly just to show a bit of support, but it was very clear that the warm welcome and friendly interaction I received immediately upon stepping into the shop was not about trying to earn a sale... It's just who/how they are.
Their product selection isn't huge, but it is pretty different from the type of stuff you'll find at most other tourist-type/souvenir-type shops. So whether you're interested in checking out some stuff you don't see every day to see if any of it strikes your fancy, or you are a fan of beautiful local photography, or even if it's just to meet a couple of the most lovely people you could ever hope to meet, I definitely don't think you'll regret taking at least a few minutes to to stop by while in the area to experience the charm of this little Ouray gem!”
