“Folks there couldn’t be nicer. And when we wanted to add the island to the job, it was no problem for them. Their friendliness was not the issue. The issue I did have was two-fold.1) We informed them that we had to leave at the end of October and would not return until spring. Our fall installation kept being pushed out, until finally we had to just tell them to wait until spring. (But from others I have talked with since, this is normal. Jobs get pushed out frequently.)2) We had selected a slab of granite and paid the required amount down on it. So when we returned in April, we contacted them to set up the installation date. They were accommodating with our schedule and even rescheduled us when I had neglected to have the kitchen faucet removed.The day of installation finally arrived. When the guys were finished, I walked in the kitchen to look. It was a vast improvement. However, over the next couple of days, I realized that the colors in the granite were different than the slab we had chosen. When I called about it, I was told “you actually got a more premium granite.” I was stunned. The colors in the piece they installed are just wrong for our kitchen. The garnet is purple, rather than the red garnet in the piece we chose. And the “background” hue is grey, rather than the white we chose.I’m addition, there are many little pocks in the surface of the granite piece on the island. However, they will send workers to fill and seal that piece.I’m not saying don’t use Precision Granite. I AM suggesting that prior to their cutting your piece of granite, go to the store and make sure they’re going to cut the piece of granite you actually chose. Once the wrong piece is installed, there’s nothing to be done except to live with it.ADDENDUM:Since there are so many pocks in the granite on my island, Precision said they are just going to cut and polish a new piece for the island. That is outstanding customer service. So I added a star. I greatly appreciate them doing this, even if it isn’t the granite I initially selected. ?”
